Solange - Candy

SolangeReview.jpgSolange Cerveau sent over her latest release, Candy, and it’s absolutely adorable!  The floral print adds feminine sexiness, that shouts “I’m sweet, and innocent.”  But, the body hugging, short cut of the skirt proves otherwise. Just like all of Solange’s amazing, beautiful pieces, this is so easy to fit.  One of the reasons she’s one of my favorite designers in SL.  Everything is scripted to fit, so it’s absolutely easy, and I love easy. Her textures are amazing, I can almost feel the soft lace, and silky, patterned fabric.  This is a perfect little piece if you’re trying to pull off a different look, sweet, yet still sexy.  Candy comes in 3 colors:  green, lavender, and rose.  I love them all, I don’t think I could choose just one!  Head over to Solange and check out this designers amazing designs.

New Silks from Analise

Analise_002.jpg
I’ve been swamped in real life as I’m sure many of you are as well, and am more than a little eager for this winter to end. I found a temporary escape into Second Life long enough today to look at some silks that Talyn Barrett sent over ages ago that got lost in the pits of my inventory.

(The nooks and crannies of my inventory are the things nightmares of made of).

Anyhow, new (newish now) silks from Analise will brighten anyone’s day. (Note that if it has been a while (months) since your last trip to Analise you may need to go just to see the new build). Here you see Slave 4u. This comes in two colors I believe, each is L$400 and both together is L$700.

Analise_006_copy.jpg The new beauty is Carmina, which you see here to the left. Carmina comes in a bunch of colors, each is L$500 or the whole range is L$2500. The set is incredibly versatile with pants and multiple lengths of the silk cloth itself to provide you with a number of looks. The textures and details on the cloth, the veil and jeweled attachments, is gorgeous as all Analise creations are.

For a variety of great silks, get on over to Analise and take a look around at the build and at the clothes. I’m diving back into my inventory in case something else is lost down there. If you don’t hear from me in a day or two, send dogs.

Egyptian Silks from Nubian Angel

060408NAegyptblk.jpgSilks are fantastic fun to wear, and one of my favourite designers of such goodies is definitely Hiri Nurmi of Nubian Angel. She’s recently brought out these Egyptian silks which I just had to share… whether you’re a full time devotee or simply flirt with the idea, you’ll definitely want a set for your wardrobe.

The lace Kef is my favourite of the pair: you rarely see lace silks around, and these are done particularly well. True, the majority of the outfit is jewellery, but then if you’re going to walk around semi-naked, you may as well do it properly…

Black is currently the only colour choice, but that suits me just fine. You’ll find your modesty is (just barely) protected by two tiny cups with suspended ‘k’ pendants in gold: unusual, and certainly rather daring. The upper arms are ensconced with a twist of cast iron, hung with matching pendants on the sides: lower to the left wrist there is a triple strand lace bangle which knots and hangs with gold-tipped excess to the side.

060408NAegyptdtl.jpgThe skirt is well made, stretched lace panels sliding from the hips into a knot above the crotch, with similar to the rear, the neat texturing offering realistic build up of opacity as the layers wrap. The skirt falls long to the front, settling in a straight edge at the floor; the lace is overlaid with a strip of silk bearing a gold-bordered tab, lines of script covering for a very unique styling. Another ‘k’ logo is emblazoned to the base, complimented by the belly jewellery and ankle cuffs made to match the uppers.

If you prefer a little more coverage, then the Goddess silk, shown here in white, is an equally attractive option. There is a top to this set and it conceals the necessary while still allowing plenty of cleavage to show; gold wire wraps the neck 060408NAegyptwht.jpgand crosses to the front, circled to allow for a pendant hanging - two crescents hooked to the framed medallion. The cups have corners sewn about the cables, wire dipping to the back and finished with a trio of beads. I love the shape of the bra tops on Nubian Angel silks… I marvel that I never quite know if I’m wearing them right, but that I don’t really care because I’m happy with how they look anyway. For ease of use Hiri includes two size options, and must admit to feeling a little self conscious at being a ‘small’ and still needing to adjust, but a girl gets over these things quickly enough. If you do need help sizing, two shapes are included with the set for your convenience.

The jewellery for this set is very similar to the previous, although the celestial theme replaces the kef. The skirt for this set is lightly embroidered silk, still set with the scripted front and a chain linked star to finish: the texturing isn’t really done justice in my pictures, but fortunately Hiri has a gold set out on display for you to see clearly. I feel that the wrist and thigh bangles look particularly nice in the opaque sets, the ties and knots more prominent, which is a definite plus when the primwork is so well done.

The Kef silk is also available in black with goddess style jewellery: the goddess silks are available in scarlet, gold, white and are also available with some ankh style jewellery (not shown). Confused? Then get down to Nubian Angel and have a look. It’s not that complicated, I promise!

These retail at $600L each; but while you’re there, you can scoop up the bargain freebie pack which is conveniently situated on the same wall.

KC Fashions – Deliver us some sexy

180208KCdeliverence.jpgThis doesn’t need an introduction. Heck, it probably doesn’t even need a write up, although naturally I’m going to give it one. Say hello to ‘Deliverence’ from KC Fashions, a multiple part set that comes together to form a seriously erotic bodysuit.

I couldn’t show you all the pieces in all their variations without spamming the blog with pictures, so I’m modelling this in its fullest. The jacket and pants have the option of being opaque, but really, that doesn’t do this outfit any justice at all. I adore the cutouts front, back and sides – paired with the underlayers it makes this outfit absolutely smoking hot.

The high neck runs with stud button fastening, the skin tight top gathering to the close, opening beneath to cutout sections overlaid with transparent latex. Tendrils of the undershirt wind below, a scrolling frame to suggest modesty although not fully providing it. Embossed glyphs top either sleeve, mirrored on the front of the trousers; the patterning is picked up in the chunky belt that locks around the waist, a welcome accessory that fits the look just perfectly. To the legs, you’ll find more openings on the hips and on the inner thigh, offering glimpses of the set stockings which run similar keyhole details down their length, evidenced here to the base (I’d normally favour boots with this outfit, but I thought you might like a peek).

The light catches convincingly, little inflections in the tone and shifts in the material bringing this whole thing to life. What’s more, it comes in other delectable colours, making me want to buy one of each… oh yes, they’re that nice.

While this is definitely my favourite of KCs newest releases, it’s not the only thing in store that demands attention.

180208KCRadiance.jpg‘Radiance’ is difficult to overlook: it rather screams “Look at me!” from every angle. The drama of it is exaggerated by the flowing chain mail cloak with bulging pauldrons and spiked neckpiece. Worn with or without, you can still be sure to cause a scene wherever you go in this fantastic outfit.

Again there are various layers provided, so you can dress as modestly or immodestly as you like. Quite honestly, you don’t need to bare all for this to be sexy; the chain undercoat and trouser pieces look very elegant (amazingly so for body armour) although the superimposed latticework is extremely artful and really does make this outfit. Cutout sections all over give a wonderful contrast to the flesh – I imagine this would look especially good on a darker skin – with two skirt options to suit your mood. Either an open fronted chain panel skirt with double banded belt, or a draped length of silver link to front and back, suspended by a silver waist piece. Again, these may work best with boots, but I wanted to show you the whole of each leg (and get out these sparklies from Storm Schmooz).

180208KCsolaris.jpgLast but by no means least, we have ‘Solaris’. If you buy it for no other reason, note that it has massive potential for costume parties: the floor-length cape is constructed from loose link metal hoops and is supremely dramatic, falling from sloped shoulders that connect to the front with a serpent-embossed medallion.

Layering options allow for increased transparency in the chain areas, or maximum opacity wherever you see fit. Of course you can take bits off to your heart’s content for some minimalistic glamour – think chainmail silks (see the store ads for more pictures… they’re delicious). The armoured undershirt collars high up the neck and runs into gloves for an all-concealing fit. Atop this, the triple buckle leather shirt sits tight, generously open to front and back with further buckle details both sides to ensure everything’s locked in place.

The skirting options are similar to Radiance, featuring metal-edged belts set with link chain and a winged serpent on the buckle. These sit well over the neatly trimmed trousers that bear angled panels to reveal more mail beneath. The matching booties do come as part of the set, which makes a great addition and finishes everything perfectly: it also saves you agonising as to what on earth to cover your toes with.

These may be some of Kittrannia Cassini’s newer releases, but are certainly not the only ones worthy of note. Drop by yourself and have a look at the selection: seriously sexy, ladies, I promise.

Deliverence, $425L ; Radiance, $650L ; Solaris, $725L

Stygian Silks, Gen 3

stygian_003_copy.jpgHere’s a great line of silks, especially for those Goddesses and Amazons out there looking for something a little more substantial than traditional slave silks. The Gen3 silks from Stygian are something you’ll want to look at.

The way they are sold is really quite clever I might add. You buy the basic outfit for L$900. In addition to the outfit, which is beautifully made and 100% prim, you get the HUD, which allows the user to change the colors of the silks. Black and white come already loaded, and when you purchase your set you have the choice of a couple of trim options. You can then purchase extra colors for your hud (L$300 a color or all 14 for L$2000). The hud will also work on other of Madlax Stygian’s Gen 3 products as well.

The silks are as I said entirely prim and this is the second Stygian outfit I’ve had that fit me perfectly right out of the box! The craftmanship and detail in the prim pieces is excellent. As I said, this is a regal and substantial set of silks worthy of a Goddess or Queen.
Now, my faithful subjects, I must go.

The Lair

Lair_003_copy.jpgWhen looking at silks from now on, be sure to include The Lair in your hunt. In fact, as I understand that they are going to start making more mainstream clothing, you may start considering the Lair for more than just silks, but I’m getting ahead of myself. I just got a bunch of things from The Lair, so look for some of them over the next couple of days.

Such as the outfit to the left; the Belled Silks Set. The detail in the primwork is incredible, giving you very fine and delicate prim clothing. The set includes the top, several lengths of the skirt, earrings, anklets, the belly jewelry and circlet tiara. There is a panty thong, everything else is prim work. It also includes an invisible prim you can attach to yourself for a bell sound, as the jewelry and accents are little bells. Remove the prim to silence the bells.
It took some doing to get the sizing right, and truly adjusting it perfectly is for the experienced SLer only, but the results are worth it. This is something that, when worn well, people will ask you about. The set is L$1000 and comes in a dizzying number of colors and accent combinations.
The Belled set is scripted with Sensations interactivity, so it can be clicked by you, or someone else, and have descriptions appear on the screen as they fly off your body, so you’ll want to be aware of that before your first party. (Sensations scripts are reasonably easy to turn off and on).

Watch this space for more from The Lair.

New from Solange and a Magazine Tease

Raniis_040.jpg

Model Raniis Winkler and I were out shooting pictures for the new magazine and we stopped by Solange! to see if there was anything new and fantastic we had to see. Raniis found the outfit to the left, which I believe is called Goddess, and which I recall comes in at least six colors. She bought it (L$900) and reports that she likes it very much, though it was a clear toss up between the black (shown) and the white (still on the wall at Solange), and the red looked rich and lururious as well.

I can attest to the fact that it looks very good on her, as you can see from the picture, and she reported that it needed very little adjustment out of the box. The set includes the jewelry you see in the picture.

So that’s our story…will Goddess by Solange make the magazine, or was it just a happy shopping trip. (Ok, I’ll end the suspense before it begins, Goddess will definitely make the mag, but what other 49 outfits will make it alongside?) Look for our next issue in a week or so!

Boots and Bargains from Dark Eden

Dark_Eden_boots.jpg
I realized the flaw in my plan as soon as I hit “publish”. I had intended to blog a few things from my wonderful pile of Dark Eden things and then a few more and then a few more because it’s getting late here in Fannie land and if I don’t get my sleeps I’s a cranky girly. As soon as I hit publish on that first post, it occurred to me that I should probably blog the rest of it or you’ll either go to Dark Eden and see all the cool things there, making my blog posts worthless, or you’ll go to Dark Eden and only look for Erebus and be mad that I didn’t tell you all the great things to look for! Either way, Fannie doesn’t look good, so I’m burning some midnight oil to get some of this sexy goodness on the web for you.

First of all, let’s talk boots, because Dark Eden has them and they are magnificent.

Dark_Eden_boots2.jpg Above you see the queen of the Dark Eden line of boots, Tanith. It comes in two styles, one with the engraved metal buckles and one without. Each style comes in 7 colors and each color is L$200. You can get all of the colors in a fatpack for only L$800. To the left is a great boot, Thetis, which also comes in seven colors and is L$150 a color (or the whole set for L$600). Thetis also has a set of matching strappy “gloves” which are more like prim leather bands and straps that are highly recommended for just L$25 a color. This is one of the reasons I so love Dark Eden. It’s good stuff and it’s a bargain- imagine eight pairs of these elegant and stylish babies for only L$600!

Speaking of sexy fun and bargains at the same time, I didn’t get a picture of them, but if you’re a fan of BDSM things, Dark Eden sells a multi piece all prim rope outfit called Shibari. It’s as if you’re wearing a nylon rope (in any of five colors) for just L$250. Take a look at their display of leather harnesses also, all prim and top quality.
Dark_Eden_skirt.jpg

If you’re looking for something a little less fetish and a little more mainstream, take a look at the incredible deal that is the Nu Kua skirt outfit at left. It’s just L$50. That’s not a typo, L$50. It includes two arm bands, a choker, two thigh garters, two types of shoe, the top on undershirt, shirt and jacket layer and two sizes of the skirt, which has an adorable fringe hem I might add. If L$50 is too much for your budget, the pieces are sold individually as well she said, her tongue firmly in her cheek. (But actually, the pieces really ARE sold individually, so if you want a killer garter and nothing else, go to dark Eden and pick it up for just L$15). Nu Kua comes in a choice of 7 colors.

While you probably don’t think of Dark Eden as a place for jewelry, do take a look at their “Chants” which are complex arm, wrist and ankle coin bangles. You have the choice of Gold, Silver or Black Iron. I got the latter and am quite taken with it. For L$200 it’s a good deal for a very well made distinctive piece of prim jewelry. You'’ll find them on the second floor, but they are most easily seen by standing on the first floor near the Tanith boots and using your camera to go straight up.

Dark_Eden_silks.jpg Finally, to the left here is the dark Eden Cephalopod silk in Obsidian. The silks are all prim, and include several pieces of gorgeous prim metal work to complement the silks. They come in your choice of obsidian or silver, and the whole set is only L$250. I found the fit to be funny until I realized that they are meant to hang on your hip, not tie around your waist. Once I figured that out I was good to go and they nearly fit my avatar out of the box. There are two sizes of everything complicated in the folder for even more ease of use.

Well dear readers, that is my pile of wonderful things from Dark Eden. I was only familiar with the place in passing until the last week or so and I’ve really come to be a fan. God quality, imaginative and very sexy merchandise for a very reasonable price. Sounds good to me and I hope it does to you as well.

Erebus from Dark Eden

Dark_Eden_detail.jpg

Vivianne Draper of Dark Eden just sent me a huge collection of deliciously sexy things. I intended to blog two or three favorite items from the batch of stuff, and then maybe if there was something special I’d do a second follow-up posting about it. Erebus, the first folder I looked at, blew that plan out of the water. Because I had to look, Erebus was the son of Chaos in Greek mythology, and let me tell you sister, you wear this outfit in public you will cause LOTS of chaos.

The thing I like best about Dark Eden, aside from their healthy attitude about keeping sexy right out in front of everything they do, is that their stuff is reasonably priced and very well made. This outfit, Erebus, is priced by the item in case there’s some part of it you want, or you can buy the whole set for just L$300. Yeah, I double checked that myself, just L$300!

Dark_Eden.jpg If you want the individual parts, the shoulder guards or pauldrons are L$75, the loin cloth is L$50, the boots, which rock, are only L$175, the gauntlets worn on the arms are L$75 and the nipple caps are L$50. There’s also an “occult glyph” which is like a cool glowing rune across your forehead, for only L$25. Or like I said, get the whole thing for L$300 and get an incredibly over the top sex and spikey things outfit for a little over one dollar U.S. The shoulder pads, loin cloth and nipple clamps all come in multiple sizes so you only have to adjust a little to make it all fit right too, by the way.

But wait, there’s more…. the whole outfit is scripted so that the draping streamers change colors. So are the metal parts, and the script is such that you can change the colors of the metal and the streamers independently of each other. In the pics I’m also wearing Dark Eden hair, called Etain’s First Hair, and it comes in a bunch of colors.

I’ll stop writing now so you can get shopping. Enjoy!

Analise - Shimmerina and Yasirah

AnaliseShimmerina.jpgAnalise has some new silks out, and naturally I couldn’t help but pay a visit and have a look for myself.

‘Shimmerina’ is the first offering, available in four colours. It’s a minimal and delicate set, composed of silk and sequins draped strategically for maximum effect. The bra top is trimmed with stones, pinched to the centre and banding around to the back. It is festooned with sparkling beadwork in a lattice pattern, encircling the upper torso. The panties are strung in a similar style, with white crystals accenting the draping skirt that flutters in multiple tiers both front and back, the silk hued in an array of colours to give depth to the translucent fabric.

The design is well drawn and wonderful for anyone who wants a less primmy set of silks. There is a slight alignment issue with the seam on the left leg, but when you’re kicking up your heels in a flurry of dance that’s unlikely to be a pressing issue on anyone’s mind.

AnaliseYasira.jpg‘Yasirah’ is a more traditional set, and comes in six colours. The bra top is made from sheer mesh, contained within a silver trim and accented to the front with an ornate brooch. The metal extends in delicate tendrils that snake above and below the cups, centred with a weighty lozenge. The silver bordering extends around the back for a strappy finish.

The panty straps are corded, with a sheer panel at the front bordered in more intricate metalwork. This meets at the back in a stud, with a metal belt overlaid to hold the trailing scarf that is emblazoned with matching print. Both arms and legs are cuffed, the metal encircling completely, finishing in several joined twists from which the patterned silks fly.

These silks and many more can be purchased from Analise: while you’re there, make sure you check out the lucky chair (presently occupied by Mr Claus). There are some pretty silks available in there for a limited period that cannot be bought from the store; Shimmerina in a very pretty frost shade, and a festive set that looks rather fun.

Shimmerina (Coral), $300L ; Yasirah (Black), $450L
