INSOLENCE by name

Dionne_catsuit.jpgCamilla Yosuke was kind enough to send me some copies of INSOLENCE’s new line called Misty. This new line is comprised of some seriously HOT lingerie with a BDSM edge. If you love latex, this is the line for you! The new line retains the high quality and upscale detailing for which INSOLENCE is very well known. I’ll admit, I’m not that well-versed in fetishwear (yet), but I have to say I really enjoyed wearing these items! They were so much fun to photograph!

I’ve featured four designs in the line. The Dionne latex catsuit is hotter than hot is hot. It has a slew of varied panties including an ‘open’ version and a zipped version, zippered catsuit pants with the zipper echoed at the neckline. I’ll warn you, the undies are SERIOUSLY sexy! The latex texture is exquisitely realistic and highlights your curves beautifully. I’ve paired the catsuit with hair by Detour called Luna.

Sally_latex_ensemble.jpgTracey_Latex_ensemble.jpgI’ve also featured the Sally Latex Ensemble, which features a zipped up latex, breast-baring corset with garter. This set also features a varied array of panties if you want to be more daring, being open at the front instead of zippered. Again, the latex is smooth and supple and tight enough to make your partner breathe heavy! I’ve chosen hair by Truth called Angel2 which includes the fedora.

Next is the Tracey Latex Ensemble, which includes a fabulous black latex halter and undies with elbow-length zippered gloves. I love the criss-cross neckline with only a teeny zipper holding it all together. That opens up some interesting possibilities, doesn’t it? I’ve chosen to wear it with hair by Damselfly called Spoiled, one of my newest favourites in my ever expanding inventory.

Dawn bodysuit_1.jpgLastly, I wanted to show you the Dawn bodysuit, which has laced up sides and zippers on the front and back of the suit. Again, it includes elbow-length zippered gloves and latex stockings. I’ve chosen hair by Abyss called Secret.

Thanks again to camilla Yosuke for introducing me to the new Misty line. You can find these designs at INSOLENCE’s main store.

toXic Boutique

Black_Latex_Jacket.jpgwebbed_Spider.jpgLooking for something extra sexy in which to ring the New Year? Trot down to toXic Boutique and take a look at their leather and latex designs, you may find your next killer clubbing outfit. To the far left you can see their black latex jacket set. This set includes the jacket, panties, stockings, boots and a prim collar for L$ 300. I had some trouble getting the collar to behave, but once I did the outfit definitely turns heads. Next to the jacket you can see their stunning Webbed Spider Set, which, like the jacket, includes all that you see in the picture, including the shoes, for only L$ 400. The design is wonderfully goth and will be one of the first things I think of when looking for sexy Halloween garb next fall. The quality is good, and considering that the stockings and shoes are included with these designs I consider them quite a fun bargain!

Zippered_Dress.jpgOne of my favorite pieces from toXic is the dress to the left, called the Zippered Dress for the detailed zipper that runs down the front. The real feature of course is the sexy open back with laces as shown in the picture. This outfit, like the others, includes the stockings and shoes, and is really quite fetching. The skirt is made with just a skirt front prim so there’s no worries about big butt syndrome or having to show your dress form booty.

Take a trip to toXic Boutique and see what you think, I liked what I found there.

Quelle Scandale! Bishwear by DBS Heart

dbs_heart.jpgSorry I’ve been so scarce around these SexySecond parts for so long. I blame it all on the tidal effect of the moon and my crippling addiction to chocolate. (I’m back from rehab, thanks for asking, but in danger of a relapse at any moment!)

I knew as soon as I saw this outfit come across the release wire on Fashion Consolidated that it was something I’d want to show off here. DBS Heart (aka ShyOne Lehane) has two lines of clothing, Bishwear and Scandal, both housed together at Cecil (130, 55, 91). This sleek, slick and sexy little outfit is named “Scandal.” Shown in black, it’s also available in a very very dark blue if you prefer to be a bit less chromatically challenged. (But, really, since when do dominatrixi choose blue over black?)

I am also showing the brand new Ophelia boots in this photo too. These sky high platform thigh high boots have lots of chains and buckles just in case your viewing audience isn’t clear who is in charge. With a wicked steel heel and plenty of sleek shiny latex highlighting, these boots weren’t exactly made for walking, no matter what Nancy Sinatra sings.

A final note about this outfit. Shyone Lehane also makes some gorgeous skins, as you can see in this photo because I’m wearing her skin under this outfit. As you can tell, it has some absolutely beautiful body shading on the abs, tummy, and back. The makeup is smoky and dark, perfect for this kind of sexy dungeon domme look. Might be a one-stop-shop for all your sexy, slinky needs. It often is for me, personally.

Fah-lah-lah and all that Jazz…

SSHappyHolidays.jpgI just stopped by to wish you all happy holidays and of course to get my Christmas cuties on.

Because everyone seems to be in an insane rush today (can’t imagine why…) I thought I’d recommend an all in one buy. For your obligatory skimpy dress complete with fur trim, sexy stockings and matching shoes from Nanogunk: $450L for the lot. Purple and red versions available too.

The marvellous ‘do is courtesy of Calla: stop by and pick up the presents under the tree for $0L, and you too can have gorgeous holiday hair. There are lots of seasonal colours, although Candy Cane is easily my favourite.

Eat much, make merry, and be sure you get plenty of wear from that mistletoe!

Have yourself a Kayliwulfy Christmas

211207KwulfHollydaze.jpgYes, it’s me… and I’m all wrapped up for Christmas. Lazurus Luan is to blame for my falling foul of this season’s wicked commercialism: I would be cross with him for tempting me, but I am too busy drooling all over this gorgeous latex Christmas costume from Kayliwulf Kingdom.

I know Justine only blogged Kayliwulf a couple of weeks ago, but it would have been criminal of me not to bring these new releases to your attention. Starting with Holly Daze, I couldn’t get myself over these delicious mistletoe pasties: red bows sit over the tops, with split shiny-leaves and even twig stem detailing beneath the pearly berries. The waist is held with a corset, the seams held with black lacing and silver eyelet detail down the length, an optional bow tied to the base. A central buckle fastening centres the front, the sides drawn in by the red-ribboned panels that curve around the torso. The back is similarly panelled, the latex texture shining across. The panties sit beneath the low back, string pulling beneath the legs and joining at the front for a simple but sexy brief. The legs and arms are also encased, emerald latex shimmering from every angle. The outfit is finished with fluffy red cuffs and break-neck stilettos.

211207KwulfHeatMiser.jpgNaturally I needed more… and Kayliwulf provided. ‘Heat Miser’ and ‘Snow Miser’ are the same design in two distinct colour schemes, both of which I was quick to smother myself in. Lazurus describes this as his most realistic latex texturing to date, and I can certainly vouch for that: while Kayliwulf has always been of very high quality, this does go the extra mile and you can’t help but be impressed with what you get.

The outfit centres on the detailed bodice, falling from a flat buckle neckline with a cutout front, the sweetheart cut above the chest emphasising cleavage in a way that’s sure to have your significant other on their knees at the mere sight. Just to be sure you get the point across, studded bands work their way under the breasts and hold everything firm, ending at either side of the central zipper that runs down to the stomach. Overlaid with a trio of straining buckles, you’ll want to get up close and personal to appreciate the subtleties of the sheen.211207KwulfSnowMiser.jpg

The umbrella skirt is beautifully made: the movement is outstanding. It may be just long enough to cover everything when you’re standing straight – assuming everyone else is still at eye level – the moment you start walking you’ll be able to delight in the bounce that flashes your buttocks with each fresh step.

All concealing boots work all the way up to the thighs, providing another gorgeous expanse of latex to admire. The bases are cruelly pointed both at the toe and heel, giving a wicked shape that I know you’ll love as much as I do.

There are many, many more outfits in store. It’s not too late to pick up your Christmas goodies here, provided you run: but don’t push, ladies: Santa’s still making his naughty and nice list…

Holly Daze $1195L, Snow Miser $1295L, Heat Miser $1295L - Kayliwulf Kingdom

SINTIMACY Revisited – Confidence and a Catsuit

Istephanija Munro of SINTIMACY contacted me the other day with regards her new Asian Catsuit Reloaded, which is a remake of her original design. RL has been hectic and I already had a few things queued for review, so I kept the box sealed until I was good and ready to write about it. Just as well, as the second I tried this on I was itching to share.

161207Sinasiancat.jpgI always feel sexy in a catsuit, but this one really wowed me. The mandarin collar supports the sleeveless bodice, the latex covered in an oriental floral print, edged in black for neat lines. Almost the entire front of the suit is cut open, a dome above the breasts slatted with dark bands, a central line running down beneath the cups and splitting diagonally to either side in an attention-grabbing frame. The cut continues completely open, joining just shy of the crotch; purple blends to black around the hips, the pattern steadfast on the long gloves.

The back of the suit is similarly cut and covered, although the overlaid lattice runs further down before peeling open. The latex shimmers across the buttocks – those highlights are just divine – and you’ll notice shaded florals to the backs of the legs that start to blossom into colour as you move your eyes around to the front once more. Through the lances of light on the thighs, the pattern becomes visible from the shade, decorating much of the leg before fading to black around the hems. The ankle-breaking high stilettos are included with this set, and do feature skin tight legs with matching Asian theme.

I should note that Istephaija mentioned a possible seaming issue between the upper and lower layer on some shapes, although I have to say that on the few I tested, the seams were flawless here for me: the only issues I noticed were on the sides, and this was due to the pattern matching rather than any alignment issues.

161207SintConfidence.jpgI was also sent a fun set called ‘Confidence’ that comes with more options than I can get into this review, although I’ve taken a few shots to give you some ideas. The set comes with various skirt, pants, shirt and jacket layers for you to go mix and match crazy with. If what you get isn’t enough, you can doubtless find dozens of things to put with it anyway as it’s an unfussy design.

The bra comes on the shirt layer, a simple and strapless design that dips to the centre and curves back, sitting above the lower line of the chest to reveal a little extra underneath. The overlayers come as either a cropped vest or full length jacket to complete the outfit as a dress, a high round neckline falling to straps at the back, with a open front that exposes the underlayers or indeed the majority of your cleavage. Edges are clean with distinct borders, the right side of the jacket emblazoned with white glyphs to add interest. A button fastens a few inches above the belly, with glimmering detail on the torso beneath the latex.

The glitch pants are stitched with a small seam centrally to the front and back, rimmed in white in continuation of the style. A spandex thong peeps above the back line; one set of the glitch pants comes complete with this detail, but you can opt for the second glitch set instead which allows you to choose your own undies – to flash or not to flash becomes the question. The glossy skirt moves freely, hemmed appropriately for a seamless finish.161207Sintbodyoil.jpg

I am also wearing the Body Lotion underlayers which worked with most of my skins (see up close for a better idea), although you will find it doesn’t suit every type. The Confidence set includes an optional layer meant to be worn as an extra to go with the lotion pack: a bikini bottom tanline which really is rather fun, and worked even on my relatively pale skin.

Boots are again supplied with this set – we’re so spoilt – and are of the same dangerously high design, platform soles arcing to tipped and capped metal heel, with latex uppers that sit just beneath the knee, the cuffs edged in white for a sharp contrast with narrow lozenge cut outs to the back.

Confidence retails at $345L, and the Asian Catsuit Reloaded at $320L. Body Lotion can be bought on various layers for $150L.

SINTIMACY boasts a new location since my last review: so make sure you pay a visit.

Kayliwulf Kingdom Latex

Kayliwulf_Kingdom_cranberry.jpgFannie’s facetious challenge that she “pwns” us here at SexySecond when it comes to latex actually comes at a great time because I was just going through my inventory and found a folder from Kayliwulf Kingdom that had somehow escaped my notice when it came in, and I’ve let my inventory spiral out of control so much I’m just pleased it wasn’t lost forever!

Kayliwulf Kingdom is THE store for latex in Second Life. As such, they charge a little more than other latex retailers but if you shop carefully you’ll probably find things you love so much the price becomes irrelevant. This outfit I’m wearing above, for example, is incredible. Its finish is more like an old and rich rubbed leather than latex and I simply love the shine. The outfit is called “Cranberry Sauce” and comes with all that you see here, (boots included) as well as a mesh skirt and prim skirt combo. The corset and bra are separate pieces, so you can mix and match the incredible corset with other outfits. It sells for L$ 1495.

Kayliwulf_Kingdom_006_copy.jpg

To the left you see another Kayliwulf creation called Dark Shadow. It sells for just L$995 and I think that the design is brilliant. Featuring a finish they call “sticky latex” it really does appear to have that wet and sticky finish, and it’s cut, as a “sportdress” does really appear to be a microskirt when in fact it is simply an undershirt and underpants layer texture. (Gloves and boots are included and come on their own layers). I especially love the texturing on the underpants, as the look of the stretched latex reinforces the illusion of a skirt and also allows for some modesty.

In these pictures I’m wearing a shape from Slider Surgeons. The shape is the modifiable Bast shape, which retails for L$800. Slider Surgeons also sells a non-modifiable version of the shape for L$400, but as these packages don’t come with mesh dress shapes I don’t recommend the non mod version at all. (In fact I recommend never buying a non-mod shape unless it comes in several versions, and only then if you absolutely have to have that look). I combined the shape with an older X2 Hyperfusion skin and hair from ETD.

Pwned with poc

poc_latex_blood.jpgpoc_latex_blood1.jpgOne of my babies uses the word “pwned” so much it’s like he has developed some sort of internet tic. I try (and fail) to be hip, so I swore I would use the word sometime this week. I know I lost all my street cred by admitting I got the word from my son. (That cred would suffer irreparable damage if you could have seen how long it took me to understand, then learn to spell, the damned word).

Where this is going is that if I hadn’t been out of computer commission last week, I would have have pwned Justine and Arabeth in their “dueling catsuit” contest as Jaime described it in her blog post at Second Style. They know I’m just kidding, and that blogging latex outfits isn’t a competition (wouldn’t that be a great world?), but as it’s Friday night and I’m running out of time to say I might pwn someone…sorry girls, my poc latex pwns you.

poc_latex_black1.jpgPutting away my l33t dictionary for a minute, this is very nice latex. The striped corsets you see in the pictures are new and so are the skirts. (The garter and panties are from an earlier release I blogged about here). Powers of Creation (and note that they’ve moved locations since that last post!)

The latex is up to the usual poc standards, which means it’s so shiny you can almost see yourself in it. The details are good and the design and edging is sharp. The corset comes in several lengths as well as open (boobs ahoy!) or closed (as shown). All of the lengths and styles come in all layers, so it’s a big box you get for your 450 lindens. I prefer my skirts to be prim skirts instead of mesh skirts because my ass is big enough without the extra ten pounds that mesh skirts can add here, but I like poc latex enough to break out the dress form version of my avie and I think I look damned good in these. The skirt comes with a waisted or not version, to wear on its own or with the corset, and comes in three lengths. (The longest one is not shown here). The pack is L$350 for all the skirts. I forgot to count exactly how many colors it comes in (I know, I know- Arabeth and Justine would know, they pwn me) but I think it’s 12 or so colors that poc offer.

I’ll be back as soon as I learn some new vocab.

AW Design Revisited

AW_Design_1.jpg

I was stumbling around Second Life the other day when I suddenly remembered a fashion show I went to months and months ago that featured a designer who showed off a lot of gorgeous latex. It occurred to me that I should look them up and blog them for Sexy Second. I found the name of the shop, IM’d the owner and then had a “OMG” moment when I came to this blog and saw that Arabeth Laval had just blogged the very same store, AW Design and had probably posted her post at the exact minute I was talking to store owner Adrina Welders. This is the part where the eerie music plays in the background.

Actually it makes sense that we would both be covering the same ground here because Adrina Welders makes great stuff, and her latex is especially good. Shown left is Dominatrix, a multiple piece set that will keep you busy getting busy for quite a while with all the possible combinations there are. There’s the semi-transparent catsuit, a corset, a leotard, bottoms for the leotard, panties, socks and gloves. Adrina has also created what she calls “baked” layers which combine the semi-transparent layer with other layers to facilitate wearing tattoos and anything else you might need an extra available layer for. All of this is only L$535. Dominatrix comes in black and a lovely deep venetian red.

AW_Design_2.jpg I haven’t even gone on about the boots yet, which I know, if you’re like me, you must have noticed and gone “ooooh!” about already. The boots in the top picture are Adrina’s Bootlex PVC Boots. They are L$490 a box and come in the same black and venetian red. In the box you get two sets of boots, one that goes to mid-thigh and the one shown, with the top of the boot folded over. I love them.

To the left I’m wearing one of AW Design’s Catsuits, this one in Dark Rose. She has a number of colors, as well as fun catsuits with motifs and designs based on the flags of several countries or other instantly recognizable patterns. The basic catsuits are a mere L$395 and the flag based designs are L$420. If you’re a fan of latex, PVC or good design, take a trip to AW Design and see what you think.

Graves - Leather and Latex

It’s been a while since I put on a leather cat suit, and I honestly can’t remember anything else that’s made me look this good.

291107GCatsuit.jpgThis is G08 by Jackie Graves. The sleeveless cat suit features a chunky front zipper opening which offers a deep and flattering neckline. Nipples perk beneath the polished leather, curved seam lines stressing the shape of the body beneath. The material creases beneath the breasts and down to the stomach, the waist folds lying hidden by the large belt - it’s simple and powerful, ridged even to the buckle, and with matching cuffs on the gloves. There are half-ring features to the sides and back, which are purely decorative, although suggestive that the suit might allow for locking…

291107GCatsuitdetail.jpgThe zipper stops just shy of the crotch, with comparable elements accenting either thigh to the front. The rear is perfectly moulded, highly shined leather providing critical definition, dropping to tight legs which sit tight to the leg and cover the feet. This works fabulously well with knee high boots. I really love this cat suit because it’s dressy without being totally over the top; the material is extremely well drawn for a great sense of realism - without any of the aggravation that really comes when trying to get in and out of something like this – even as a black garment, this has its own depth and vibrancy that has to be admired.

2911107G21.jpgSince I find it hard to leave a store with only one item, I also selected G21, the Open Suit in silver which is a sexy symphony of latex, leather and metal melded into one. This outfit is set to the neck with a fitted clasp choker, which caps the wonderfully constrictive latex top which glows with its metallic sheen to provide definition both front and back. Long gloves with fastenings cover the arms. The torso is dressed with an under bust corset in thick leather, with seamed panels to exaggerate the hourglass look, a trio of buckles front and back to bridge the split and hold everything in. To the back the thong strap threads to the corset and passes down beneath the crotch and splits to a panty at the front, combining there with the buckled suspenders that support the skin tight thigh highs.

291107G21Detail.jpgFor variation, you can wear this without the latex – there are some black cross pasties provided. The undies can also be removed if you’re feeling so inclined. While there are no add on options in store, a well-made skirt in latex, rubber or leather would probably go very well, although I have to admit that I really love the outfit as it stands.

Designers like Jackie make you glad to be a woman; I almost feel sorry for the guys, but then I remember they can share the glory simply by ogling. Take pity on your fella and pop on over to Graves to take a look at what else is in store: I don’t think either of you will be disappointed.

G21 Open Suit Silver, $320L (all 9 colours for $980L) ; G08 Zip Catsuit, $290L
