The Antihero at Pixeldolls
Pixeldolls have brought out a new set that I picked up today as a New Year treat to myself. There are actually three different sets available at varying prices: I bought the Bodysuit set which has lots of options on shirt, undershirt and pants and underpants layers. I quickly got bored trying to count, but I can promise you there are lots of pieces to play with.
My pictured top options include an open front, halter neck and clasped front jacket, all featuring piping across the bust, wide lacing to the torso and stitched seams centrally down to the stomach where the piece closes. The back features the same crosswork and horizontal lacing from the back of the neck down, with a wide, open back that curves around to the hips and lapping over the trousers.
The leather pants are divine, featuring spun straps with clasp detail across the lower back. The upper is separated with raised strips and a charcoal hue, contrasting with the black of the seat. More strapping encircles the upper thigh, and the lines are drawn again to break to a leg section, carefully shaded for a lustrous finish.
If you prefer – and it’s hard to decide with this one - there is the option of hotpants and leg sheathes instead. The shorts cut a tight line to the body at the front, rising up to reveal the majority of your behind. The legs are leashed to the thighs with tight banding, holding high at the front and dropping a little at the back, falling to the ankle with a tiny flare at the cuff.
There is also a bikini version on sale at Pixeldolls which looks fabulous on the photos: I didn’t purchase both (I’d rather torture myself all day about whether or not I should, and then return later and sate my lust) so I’d urge you to pop on down and take a closer look for yourself.

What I find when out and about…
It seems like forever since Jaime announced that I would be writing on the blog. You ever have a whirlwind day/week/month? Well needless to say I’ve had some pictures of some outfits growing moss on my hard drive and I’m so excited to be sharing them now.
On a random shopping trip with a few of my friends, we stopped at Bare Rose. This is a place full of sexy and fun outfits and ensembles. I picked up the Kirie outfit and was very pleased. Full of buckles and straps and enough holes in the fabric to give the mind’s eye quite a view! With an Asian influence this outfit is an eye turner indeed.

Other Items: Skin by MM Model Skins, Hair by Calico Creations, and boots from Vamp/Last Call
My next outfit I bought specifically for a photo shoot, and fell in love with it immediately. The Silver White Catsuit Set by Nicky Ree is one of those outfits that just oozes sexy. I love the shiny silver color and the snug fit on the body leaves little to the imagination. Nicky Ree has several cat suits and I recommend taking a look.

I can’t wait to share more of my finds with you and even some goodies I’ve been saving in my inventory. You’ll notice that I’m a blogger that loves the use of the pics and less focus on a long intense write up. I’d be glad to go more in-depth if that is what the readers desire. Just leave me a comment and let me know what you think? Is less more? I know that does wonders when I’m picking out lingerie
SINTIMACY Revisited – Confidence and a Catsuit
Istephanija Munro of SINTIMACY contacted me the other day with regards her new Asian Catsuit Reloaded, which is a remake of her original design. RL has been hectic and I already had a few things queued for review, so I kept the box sealed until I was good and ready to write about it. Just as well, as the second I tried this on I was itching to share.
I always feel sexy in a catsuit, but this one really wowed me. The mandarin collar supports the sleeveless bodice, the latex covered in an oriental floral print, edged in black for neat lines. Almost the entire front of the suit is cut open, a dome above the breasts slatted with dark bands, a central line running down beneath the cups and splitting diagonally to either side in an attention-grabbing frame. The cut continues completely open, joining just shy of the crotch; purple blends to black around the hips, the pattern steadfast on the long gloves.
The back of the suit is similarly cut and covered, although the overlaid lattice runs further down before peeling open. The latex shimmers across the buttocks – those highlights are just divine – and you’ll notice shaded florals to the backs of the legs that start to blossom into colour as you move your eyes around to the front once more. Through the lances of light on the thighs, the pattern becomes visible from the shade, decorating much of the leg before fading to black around the hems. The ankle-breaking high stilettos are included with this set, and do feature skin tight legs with matching Asian theme.
I should note that Istephaija mentioned a possible seaming issue between the upper and lower layer on some shapes, although I have to say that on the few I tested, the seams were flawless here for me: the only issues I noticed were on the sides, and this was due to the pattern matching rather than any alignment issues.
I was also sent a fun set called ‘Confidence’ that comes with more options than I can get into this review, although I’ve taken a few shots to give you some ideas. The set comes with various skirt, pants, shirt and jacket layers for you to go mix and match crazy with. If what you get isn’t enough, you can doubtless find dozens of things to put with it anyway as it’s an unfussy design.
The bra comes on the shirt layer, a simple and strapless design that dips to the centre and curves back, sitting above the lower line of the chest to reveal a little extra underneath. The overlayers come as either a cropped vest or full length jacket to complete the outfit as a dress, a high round neckline falling to straps at the back, with a open front that exposes the underlayers or indeed the majority of your cleavage. Edges are clean with distinct borders, the right side of the jacket emblazoned with white glyphs to add interest. A button fastens a few inches above the belly, with glimmering detail on the torso beneath the latex.
The glitch pants are stitched with a small seam centrally to the front and back, rimmed in white in continuation of the style. A spandex thong peeps above the back line; one set of the glitch pants comes complete with this detail, but you can opt for the second glitch set instead which allows you to choose your own undies – to flash or not to flash becomes the question. The glossy skirt moves freely, hemmed appropriately for a seamless finish.![]()
I am also wearing the Body Lotion underlayers which worked with most of my skins (see up close for a better idea), although you will find it doesn’t suit every type. The Confidence set includes an optional layer meant to be worn as an extra to go with the lotion pack: a bikini bottom tanline which really is rather fun, and worked even on my relatively pale skin.
Boots are again supplied with this set – we’re so spoilt – and are of the same dangerously high design, platform soles arcing to tipped and capped metal heel, with latex uppers that sit just beneath the knee, the cuffs edged in white for a sharp contrast with narrow lozenge cut outs to the back.
Confidence retails at $345L, and the Asian Catsuit Reloaded at $320L. Body Lotion can be bought on various layers for $150L.
SINTIMACY boasts a new location since my last review: so make sure you pay a visit.
Graves - Leather and Latex
It’s been a while since I put on a leather cat suit, and I honestly can’t remember anything else that’s made me look this good.
This is G08 by Jackie Graves. The sleeveless cat suit features a chunky front zipper opening which offers a deep and flattering neckline. Nipples perk beneath the polished leather, curved seam lines stressing the shape of the body beneath. The material creases beneath the breasts and down to the stomach, the waist folds lying hidden by the large belt - it’s simple and powerful, ridged even to the buckle, and with matching cuffs on the gloves. There are half-ring features to the sides and back, which are purely decorative, although suggestive that the suit might allow for locking…
The zipper stops just shy of the crotch, with comparable elements accenting either thigh to the front. The rear is perfectly moulded, highly shined leather providing critical definition, dropping to tight legs which sit tight to the leg and cover the feet. This works fabulously well with knee high boots. I really love this cat suit because it’s dressy without being totally over the top; the material is extremely well drawn for a great sense of realism - without any of the aggravation that really comes when trying to get in and out of something like this – even as a black garment, this has its own depth and vibrancy that has to be admired.
Since I find it hard to leave a store with only one item, I also selected G21, the Open Suit in silver which is a sexy symphony of latex, leather and metal melded into one. This outfit is set to the neck with a fitted clasp choker, which caps the wonderfully constrictive latex top which glows with its metallic sheen to provide definition both front and back. Long gloves with fastenings cover the arms. The torso is dressed with an under bust corset in thick leather, with seamed panels to exaggerate the hourglass look, a trio of buckles front and back to bridge the split and hold everything in. To the back the thong strap threads to the corset and passes down beneath the crotch and splits to a panty at the front, combining there with the buckled suspenders that support the skin tight thigh highs.
For variation, you can wear this without the latex – there are some black cross pasties provided. The undies can also be removed if you’re feeling so inclined. While there are no add on options in store, a well-made skirt in latex, rubber or leather would probably go very well, although I have to admit that I really love the outfit as it stands.
Designers like Jackie make you glad to be a woman; I almost feel sorry for the guys, but then I remember they can share the glory simply by ogling. Take pity on your fella and pop on over to Graves to take a look at what else is in store: I don’t think either of you will be disappointed.

Sintimacy
I happened across SINTIMACY quite by chance, and when I IM’d Istephanija Munro to enquire about her range, she told me that she had only rented the boutique in that particular shopping centre that morning. I love such coincidences.
SINTIMACY’s range is made up of body suits of varying descriptions. While I was spoilt with many review copies, I picked out a few of my favourites to share with you.
‘Snake Skin’ was my first choice, largely because of the unusual texturing. The set comes with jacket, bra top, thong and flared pants, each emblazoned with a signature ‘S’. The jacket is open, sleeveless with highlights on the chest. The back of the jacket cuts a straight line across; the backing in that lovely snakeskin with a large logo set to the centre. The bra top is barely there, strapless and slung low at the back with signature to the catch. The front covers nipples and little else, the flat band slimming to prongs which are linked with criss-cross cords. I have to mention that there are slight seaming issues on the sides, so if you’re a perfectionist do bear it in mind.
The trousers I love as you get to see much more of that gorgeous print. This is available in black and plenty of other colours to suit your taste, but brown hits the spot with me. The texture is a mottling of colour tones, the end effect something of a bronzed patina. I feel perfectly sculpted, polished even, particularly to the back where you feel the full effect as you admire your freshly buffed buttocks. Beautiful. Special attention has been paid to the stitched belt detail, and the thighs benefit from sewn black banding for distinction. The included thong is simply cut and textured to match the outfit.
‘Body Art’ is another design I really liked. This is the black version, but there
are several other colours to pick from. This isn’t the limit of your choice though, as each suit offers three transparencies – 100% opaque (pictured), 75% and 50%. The coloured spandex areas are the ones that gradually reveal a little more and this works to great effect. Still, even at 100% opacity, this looks hot. The suit is high necked and covers everything on the surface, skin tight with a slight kick on the legs to suit boot wear if the mood takes you. The latex catches the light on all the appropriate points, although the most noticeable gleam is on the stomach, which is an interesting feature. The showy panels are abstractly textured, which makes a nice change in the usual trends for symmetries; there’s also a skewed star placed low at the back, especially nice when the transparent versions are worn.
Finally, have a look at ‘Asphalt Cowgirl’. You get a shirt and pants combo which I liked best in this deep wine red: the cropped top covers all it needs to, arcing low between the breasts to accentuate your cleavage. The back is high and has an innovative torn pattern, scratches interlaced to form a large cross. A smaller version of this cut-out style features centrally to the front, accented with a starred stud. Similar fastenings provide a finishing trim underneath the bust.
The trousers feature a metal belt with star button details all around and an enlarged version to the buckle. The fly zipper gleams at the crotch. Again, the real beauty in these is the texturing, swirling motifs working down the leg to a wide hemline on the flared leg. I can’t neglect to mention the shading on the butt though: I admit to having a fascination with this on tight pant suits, and Sintimacy doesn’t disappoint in this area.
Istephanija is a proficient designer who has some creative ideas and is showing great promise in bringing them to life. I wouldn’t mind a little more fuss with the cuffs and collars, but if you like simple lines and figure hugging material, SINTIMACY offers some well made, sassy outfits at reasonable prices. Why not pay a visit to the main store and pick out your own favourites?
Snake skin (Brown): $240L ; Body Art (Black): $330L ; Asphalt Cowgirl (Red): $220L
A little bit of Mischief
You may have gathered that I’m partial to a bit of mischief now and again: these new outfits from Mischief Designs were right up my street.
For some sexy daywear, consider ‘Claire’. The sleeveless top has a high collar that fits closely to the neck, set with two buttons. It splits open to the front, wide enough to mean you’ll need to be careful in your choice of underwear, but falling short of giving everything away. The ruffled trim is expertly drawn and demonstrates Janie’s astuteness in her work: the material is beautifully weighted and puckered, with natural undershadowing that easily fools the eye to its dimension. The bow detail attaches to the front in a precisely tied ribbon that droops with its own weight, picking up on the belted fixture that crosses around the back and meets beneath the bust.
The silky material clings to the body, rumpling at the waist and across the stomach where movement has caused it to rise up. The double skirts flow smoothly together, the joint effort oddly suggestive that perhaps one of the pair should be removed… or is that simply the way my mind works? I have to say that I am positively drooling over this one; let me know if it has the same effect on you.
I also tried on ‘Club Kitten’, an all in one that comes in three colours. The daring cut is what grabs your attention, the halter neck and single strap leaving your back otherwise completely exposed - fantastic for showing off your skin or a new tattoo. The satin sheen emphasises the skin tight fit, with highlights to flatter all over. It is barred and buttoned in diamante to the front, with a similarly encrusted belt buckle, but with no added bling you can rest assured that sunglasses are not compulsory. This is absolutely perfect for a night on the tiles, and makes a change from my multitude of barely-there minis. See all the colours and more detail here.
Janie’s definitely been busy, and these are just two of her newer releases. The store is busting at the seams with sexy designs, so I suggest popping over to Mischief Isle now and taking a look for yourself.
Claire (in Bluebell), $250L ; Club Kitten, $175 per colour
Get Your Latex On with poc
Powers of Creation makes the shiniest latex in Second Life. The mirror finish on these catsuits is so bright you’ll swear you can see reflections in them. I don’t know how [poc] designer Kai Heideman does it, but this is one great set of sexy and it’s only L$600 for a package that includes five levels of zipped and unzipped, gloves, and multiple versions of the pants on the clothing and underwear levels. Comes in twelve different colors. Look for more from Powers of Creation here soon, because I may be in love.
Nicky Ree
I’ve recently had a few requests to review some peoples’ favourite stores and this was one that came up numerous times.
Renowned for her beautiful ball gowns, you might not be too surprised to see me glide out of Nicky Ree’s store dressed in something like this. Shanae allows for a slightly unusual take on the traditional gown as it comes complete with a system skirt that looks absolutely stunning with or without prim attachment.
I love the way this dress moves: I took a motion picture to give you an idea of it’s floatiness, but the real thing has to be experienced to be truly appreciated. There’s a scarf included which is extremely elegant: yes, I could almost pass as an honest to goodness classy lady in this one!
I’m showing off the items in Set A, but there is also a more traditional ballgown set (B) and for those with large wads of cash, a further set which contains every single piece of the Shanae collection. You won’t find the shoes in any of the sets – they’re mine!
Tucked away at the back of her Deco store, Nicky is hiding the superb Dragon Princess Bodysuits. Nicky offers a lot with her outfits by way of layers to ensure you get plenty of value from your purchase and there are so many bits and pieces to choose with this one! Cropped top, zipped up jacket, open fronted jacket, bikini top, with matching gloves, socks and belt too. And yes, you get the trousers and the undies too. So spoilt.
I know I reviewed dragons just recently, but here they are again and looking just as splendid. The designs are boldest on the right hand side, but repeated to the left in highlights of the main suit colouring, mimicking the highlights across the rest of the outfit which work oh so well. The fabric looks so real that you just know you’ll have straying hands itching to touch – but if you can stop fondling yourself for five minutes and take this to the streets, there will be wolf-whistles and IMs a plenty.
Note to designers: Will everyone stop making things in red that are so damn hot? I’m drawn to them like a Labrador puppy to toilet tissue: I have to wrap these beautiful creations around my body and then run around someone else’s house causing a scene.
I’m making it my new mission to find something sexy in green…
Shanae (Set A) in red – shown - $450; Shanae (Full Combo Set) - $780 ; Dragon Princess Bodysuit (Earth): $380
Naughty n Nice
A shop with a name like ‘Naughty n Nice’ is almost always guaranteed to get me to walk through the door. I assume people will live up to the expectation of that kind of advertising, and Nikita Lightfoot’s work did not disappoint.
The Diamond Outfits struck me as being unusual and is definitely fun to wear. It comes as a pack of four shades: charcoal, silver, red and purple. They’re all lovely, but the deep purple won me over for the shoot. I love the confident and striking lines that this outfit cuts, best defined against a pale skin. The photographs don’t quite make it clear, but there is also some pretty detailing around the neck and back rings where the material seems to runch up.
Nikita is a relatively new designer and as such there are a few issues with side seams. With the top it could almost be a design feature, where the material is pulled to mirror the feature at the ring points, but it is more noticeable on the briefs. Paired with a prim skirt, it’s no bother at all, although you should note that the lower half is on the pants layer, probably to allow for tattoos.
I was also sent a copy of the weaved leather bikini with a note. Nikita described it as one of her ‘best mistakes’ and indeed biggest sellers: you can certainly see why it’s hot off the shelves. It’s cheeky but pretty, and the top actually works very well when paired with some other items in my wardrobe. Just for a lark, I popped on a pair of knee highs and strutted around the streets for a while, and certainly got a few comments (followers, friend requests, offers… what, a girl can’t parade around in a bikini and boots these days?). No one else seemed to mind that the side seams didn’t match. I’m too busy admiring the criss-cross back myself, and everyone else the rather full-frontal.
If you know any one under thirty days old who might be interested in these sexy stylings, it’s worth dropping them a landmark for Naughty n Nice store. Nikita is currently running a promotion to help out new folk, so if they pop into the store and pick out an outfit, send Nikita an IM and wait a little, and she’ll deliver their pick at her earliest convenience. Ah, the milk of human kindness!
I think Nikita’s work will continue improving: she is creative and has an eye for interesting and flirty design. I look forward to seeing more from her in the future: watch this space, Naughty n Nice will be back!
Diamond Outfit (4 pack): $400L ; Weaved Bikini: $100L
Zipz
I am on fire and Zipz struck the match.
This outfit is an absolute knock-out. If it was real, I’d have bought two of them and vacuum sealed the second to ensure that when the first one had started to show signs of age, I had another in reserve. I might even have bought three to be safe: that way I’d also have a spare for washing day. Yes, I love it that much.
‘Ash’ is jaw-droppingly beautiful in every aspect of its design. Each angle brings a new delight; the shapes and the swirls capturing the onlooker in a hypnotic trance. The outfit is so neatly drawn that you won’t find a thread out of place: I can zoom right in on my arse and there’s not the slightest glitch: which means anyone ELSE zooming in on my arse can ogle and coo without the slightest distraction from inner-leg smear.
The set comes with 7 pieces (with the bottoms on two layers) and can be worn as a cat suit, a body, or with a dinky little prim skirt… may I recommend some thigh-high boots with that? No shoes/boots included, but you must have something in your inventory that will do this justice!
I could stop there, but I also thought I’d share another work of art with you. ‘Fire Dragon’ is a scrumptious marriage of cloth and
metal, featuring a twin dragon design on the bodice. It’s well cut and opens up in all the right places to ensure you show off enough skin to keep everyone interested. Again the box contains the outfit on several layers with similar options to the above, so you can play around and style to suit you. There is a long flexi-skirt included with this one, but I like showing off my legs too much to put it on, however gorgeous the texturing is. Shame on me.
Finally: the price. Ash in red will set you back a mere $239L and Fire Dragon $269L. And it being Tuesday… you know where to spend your $300L this week, ladies!
How much do I adore Zipz? This much: *extends arms out as far as they will stretch, holding meter rules in her fingertips*. And then some.
