Fringe Fashion at its Best!

This is the inimitable Rug Halberd in the photo here. She wore this astounding outfit at her fabulously seedy club Rug’s Boom Boom Blue the other night and I was curious about it, so I asked where she got it. When she couldn’t tell me, I thought she was being coy, but as it turns out this ensemble was put together painstakingly using a lot of wonderful designer creations. I thought to myself, “really.. how many different items could she POSSIBLY be wearing?”. Well, she definitely puts yours truly to shame and Ms. Halberd is clearly one of the most creative fashionistas out there in my estimation. Get comfortable, here’s how it goes in Rug’s own words:
Mask: “Oak Dryad” by Siyu Suen of *~*Illusions*~* Masks and Unique Accessories. Prim mask in the style of Venetian masquerade mask, original texture replaced by custom net and lace texture by Rug. A gorgeous sculpty mask with added detailed side pieces, originally with a “green leafy” texture, available in sping/summer/autumn/winter colour schemes.
Jacket: !Shiny Girl. Stripe Mix Set: Black by SlavegirlPaula Masukami. Just latex jacket layer worn without pants/underpants. This set of latex is designed to allow mixing and matching with other clothing layers to give a two-town latex look and includes underwear layers, shirt/pants layers and jacket layers with “inner” stripe or “outer” strip options of all.
Shirt/Pants: Trilobiteware.”Trilobiteware Fetishista Ensemble Harness Lower” and “Trilobiteware Fetishista Ensemble Harness Upper” by Trilobite Reisman of Trilobiteware. Nicely detailed straps and buckles on clothing texture layers.
Boots: Cre@ction. “Boots s112 vampire black” by Rebecca Lipfert of Cre@ction. Highly detailed prim thighboots with spiked heels and steel details.
Shoulders/chest/upper arms/hands/pelvis: Desolation Nightclub, Home of Questionable Virtues.”Black Rose Armor full set” by Zeria Sassoon of Questionable Virtues. Not the full set of armour worn, leg attachments used by boots and forearms by wraps from *~*Illusions*~*. All Prim Armour is a combination of metal plates at neck, hips and shoulders held together with detailed rose setms with thorns and highly detailed black roses.
Forearms: *~*Illusions*~* Masks and Unique Accessories. “Rose Arm Wrap: Black” by Siyu Suen of Illusions. Fantastic crisscross wrap made of rose stems and thorns with detailed black roses that matches the Black Rose Armour from QV but without the chevroned metal plates which softens the overall look of the armour just a little but still gives that “keep your distance” feel.
For a few final touches of detail, I included a small pouch at my right hip that I created to give away specially made sweets to deserving folks in-world and I also added a dagger I found kicking around in my inventory at my left hip just for an added look as it’s unscripted and purely there for decor.
