So Much to Say…

I would like to be able to say something dramatic like “As I write this, the SexySecond Staff is having its first meeting without me.” I could in fact say that, because I’ll try and hit the Publish button as their meeting starts, but the truth is that the meeting being held by the SexySecond Staff in a few minutes is really the first meeting ever held by the SexySecond Staff. I’m just not that organized in my virtual life.
Meetings for us when I owned this blog were limited to frantic calls to Justine Babii, who taught me how to blog and that WordPress, however evil, is manageable, or panicked email flurries with Arabeth Laval, Graciana McMillan, Marleen Vaughan and Stella Stapleton about how behind I was at getting the magazine out. I guess we met, it was just ansynchronously, at best.
Which, when it comes down to it, is exactly why I sold this whole thing to Celebrity Trollop. My busy rl and SexySecond will be in the great hands of a team of people who have the knowledge and time to make a great blog and magazine for you. I can’t wait to see the wonderful things that Celebrity, Elease and the rest of the team have in store.
I have loved working with all of the great people who have contributed to the blog and the magazine. I’d like to thank all of them and thank all of the readers, fans and friends who have made this such an enjoyable endeavor.

    awww Jaime *sniff*..gettin’ me all heartsick! I just came from the aforementioned meeting and Celebrity and Elease are simply lovely! You can rest assured that your vision of this project will be brought to new heights that will make you proud! I want to publicly thank you Jaime for all your support. I probably would have put down my camera ages ago if it wasn’t for you. Don’t be a stranger and you’re still part of the Sexy Second family!

    Jaime, I want you to know how much I appreciate your support. You saw something in me and asked me to join this wonderful family of exceptional women, and for that I am so grateful. I appreciate your support in helping me get things started, and all your advice along the way. I’m glad that we have become such good friends, and you will always have a special place in our hearts.

    Jaime! I can sure understand RL getting in the way. Just wanted to say thank you for all your hard work. You were a joy to do business with! I am sure letting your “baby” go must have been a tough decision but you can be proud of what you started. I look forward to seeing your vision grow with the new crew! Cheers!

    What you have done for SexySecond is really awesome! Without you, no SexySecond !
    Honestlty, I was a bit surprised with the magazine sales to Second Style team. For sure the Second Style work “more professionally” (meeting, …) as you did. but your magazine was always well done, and really I enjoy read it. I don’t think, there is a good or bad way to manage a magazine, your results was perfect and that’s count !
    I hope the new team, first of all, will keep all the reviewer team here, they are a great part of the SexySecond way of doing. Also, really important, they have to keep the “SexySecond” style and not make it as a Second Style Magazine clone. I particularly prefer to adervtise in SexySecond than others, why ? SexySecond is unique and must be unique.

    Again thank you for this great job !

    Jaime, it was nice meeting you and fun working with you. I loved your last issue and was waiting for your next issue… I know it’s not easy to keep a good balance between RL and SL.
    Hope to see you in-world some time and thank you for your great work and contribution to SL fashion:-).
