Elemiah Design Black and White bikini

How cute is this black and white bikini by Elemiah Design? I just love it so I suited up my amiable assistant Mhairi Hastings to pose for a couple of pictures. The belted slightly opaque sarong makes this thong bikini so distinctive. The suit is just skimpy enough to get you a a few “hubba hubba’s” on the beach, but not so skimpy that you’ll be getting business offers, if you know what I mean *wink*. Elemiah Choche of Elemiah Design clearly pays attention to every texturing and design detail. While I was at the shop, I also picked up a couple of outfits which I love equally. There’s a little bit of everything at Elemiah Design…gowns, outfits, lingerie and swimwear and worth every linden in my opinion. So, grab your favourite beach bag and I’ll see you on the beach!

Lingerie by Hollee

I was so fortunate to have Hollee Dion from Lingerie by Hollee contact me and show me some gorgeous new lingerie sets. The Blossom and Summer collections are two divine sets of sexy lingerie. The Blossom line even has an adorable garter belt option with a dollar bill in it *wink*. All of them are beautifully made with exquisite attention to detail and Hollee’s texturing acumen is obvious! Each set is available in nine colors and have tattoo friendly layer options. I really enjoyed photographing these sets and I wish I could show you all of them! Thanks Hollee and I’ll be back to take a closer look at those corsets I saw! Shoes are by Basevi Moda Sexy Shoes..you can find them at the Basevi Moda Mainstore.

Pixeldolls Antihero

_antihero__Prototype_bodysuit_Pixeldolls_BLOGjpg.jpgI’ve always loved Pixeldolls, even from my earliest days in-world. Every time I go, I always see something I love. At my most recent trip, I uncovered a very swanky and cool body suit called (antihero) Prototype bodysuit. For all you “layers” lovers, this is the suit for you. This has tons of options and looks as each top and pant layer comes in jacket/shirt/undershirt options in a long sleeved jacket or halter style. The trousers also range from shorts to full length. Mixing and matching with this outfit is seemingly unlimited! I adore the back of the top - lots of intricate lacing on the pants and on the back of the jacket. Check it out and more at Pixeldolls Main Shop in Port Seraphine.

I tried on a selection of the new skins and featured in the photo are Jodie in Rose/Brown Dark, Missy in Pink/Smoky Light & Giselle in Rose/Brown Dark. My personal fave is the Missy skin with its delicate gloss on the lips and the realistic skin tone with beauty marks on the cheek. These are colourful and glowing skins and I know you’ll love them as much as I do.

New Skins at INSOLENCE

Kathy_Sunkiss_Smokey_Claire_Pale_Night__Helen_Tan_Night.jpgEstelle_Tan_Smokey__Carol_Tan_Silver__Faye_Pale_Smokey.jpg

Camilla Yosuke of INSOLENCE was kind enough to show me her new photorealistic skins series. I was intrigued, so I slapped a few on. She isn’t kidding about the photorealism and I find they are tempered with a very smooth and subtle quality too. I would say they are arguably one of the best photorealistic sets out there because of this lovely and difficult balance.

The first picture features Kathy Sunkiss Smokey, Claire Pale Night & Helen Tan Night. Camille also has modifiable shapes that correspond with these skins which are great, but I couldn’t resist trying them on my own shape. I love the subtle shades of the lips and just a hint of very delicate colour on the cheeks.

The second set is Estelle Tan Smokey, Carol Tan Silver & Faye Pale Smokey. I noticed that this set of skins has an even more noticeable photorealistic aspect…I mean just look at Estelle with her highly detailed freckles and stippling! So cute!

Camilla Yosuke is clearly a stickler for detail and helping us look our very best. She included a really well done lighting tutorial as well (great for us photographers!) to show the skins in their best light. In my photos, I used a simple two-light system and very little environmental controls and absolutely no photo editing of the skins and I really liked the result.

Check these skins out and all their makeup variations for yourself at INSOLENCE Skins on the Venom sim.

Freda’s Fine Fashion and Basevi Moda

Freda__s_Fine_Fashion_knitted_dress_chiffon_Red.jpgThe lovely and talented Freda Fredriksson, fresh from her recent InStyle graduates’ fashion show, was kind enough to send me a dress I saw in her shop that I just had to have! It’s a fantastic knitted dress with chiffon skirt shown in red in the picture. The knit texture is very realistic and appears to hug your body and complements the opaque chiffon textured flexi prim scripted skirt perfectly. The back is the real show stopper though, laced up from neck to waist. Included with the dress is a variation of the top which is a very sheer cropped halter which you can wear with the spaghetti strap top or alone if you’re feeling very daring. This is dress is simply yummy! You can find this dress in a choice of delicious colours at Freda’s Fine Fashion main store or at Stella’s Mall on Stella Isle.

I’ve paired this fabulous dress with Stiletto Slingbacks in Dove from Basevi Moda Sexy Shoes. It’s no secret that I adore Lara Basevi’s shoes and her latest line of slingbacks is a staple in my wardrobe. They are finely detailed and beautifully textured. She has a wide variety of styles that you will always find what you’re looking for. Find these and more at her main shop in Templegreen or at at Stella’s Mall on Stella Isle.

In League

League_Scoop_minidress_in_Taupe.jpgI found a “new to me” store called League recently so I bought an outfit to take a look. I loved it! Nothing gets me more hyped up then finding a store I hadn’t heard of and finding some treasures! I chose this minidress called “Scoop” in taupe. It has a fabulous sculptie prim for the draped neckline and even has two choices of sculptie prim in single or double drape. Very clever! The texturing of the dress itself is great too. It looks very slinky and clingy. The top of this dress would look great with a pair of jeans too. I checked out the rest of the store and it’s very well laid out and the presentation of the products is great! I think now that I’ve found this store, I’ll be seeing and hearing a lot more about it. I picked up a very cool black minidress there that I have a feeling I will be blogging about in the very near future!

I wore this dress with a pair of new Stiletto Slingbacks by Basevi Moda in alligator skin. I love the little gold detailing at the heel and toe. You can find them at the Basevi Moda Mainstore location in Templegreen or at Stella’s Mall on Stella Isle. They are available in tons of colours so you’ll not have a problem matching your favourite outfit.

Hexed

Hexed_Sam_Paula_II_blog.jpgThe other day I decided to go through a slew of landmarks I’ve collected over the last year and a half and I came upon my landmark for Hexed. I thought I’d better go check out the store since it was quite awhile since my last visit. Well, I loved what I saw! The Hexed Main Store is great…very well laid out and ultra cool. I found this fabulous mini called Sam. I love the texture ~ it has a black linen style finish to it and it’s decked out in rivets and buckles along the front bodice, shoulder straps and waist. The asymmetrical triple tiered miniskirt has the PERFECT flexi properties as well. Not too flexi and not too static ~ excellently done.

I’ve paired this outfit with hair by ETD - Paul II and “Supa Dupa” shades by Nylon Outfitters.
