Tox1c Chemistry of Crimson Shadow dropped a folder full of wings on me quite some time ago. My first thought was “mmmm wings.” The eating kind, silly me.
When I tried them on I thought they were well made and promised to take a look at them again sometime. They’re not my thing exactly and I don’t have a “wings” or “extra appendage” tag for the blog yet, but I’ll keep them in mind and maybe look at them again.

Then, like two days later, a friend invited me to a club. It was a gothy place and there were people there with wings. “Ahhhhh!” methought, and I brought out my Crimson Shadow Shattered Seraph wings and was the envy of the club.

The next day I set out to blog these wings because I think they make a nice change of pace as fashion accessories go, and these are gorgeously detailed. I IM’d Tox1c to ask how to turn off the blood dripping effect, which at that point one couldn’t and he explained they were working on that very thing and would have them in the shop soon. They also, when touched, give you a line of literature about vampires. (You can turn that off too).

The sets sell for L$500 per. There are three sets with feathers (above, left). Black is shown in the picture, they also come with white feathers and red feathers. Above right you see Bare Bones, which is the sculpty wing bones held together with rope. To the left you see Bat Wings.

The outfit, if you’re interested is a classic by Szentasha called Corazon. I think I got this from Szentasha Salome through her generous “one free outfit for newbies” box at the Free Dove ages ago when I was in fact a newbie. It comes with a sheer floor length skirt that’s not shown. It literally made me squeal irl to go back to Szentasha’s “all grown up” and see this on the wall. (Still only L$300!). If you’ve not been to Szentasha’s lately, drop by. Still great stuff.

Drop by Crimson Shadow on your way home too, pick up some wings.
