In the weeks before Simone Stern’s new store opened I was trying to warn everyone- watch out, I said, you will be amazed! I was right, wasn’t I?

Most people release a few outfits at a time, maybe a small line of clothes, or introduce a season with a trickle of new things. Simone Stern opens a sim full of clothes. Nice clothes too, these were clearly not rushed. How do she do dat? (I always secretly hope that there’s a jar of magical pixie dust involved because that way maybe I’ll find some. I suspect the answer is something far less exciting like ‘hard work’ and ‘talent’, both of which fit Simone pretty well).

I showed off several lingerie collections before the store opened, this morning I thought I’d show off some of the dresses because they’re among my new favorites. The Wrapped Shirt Dress above is incredible, a lesson in good shading and highlighting to create rich, seemingly three dimensional textures. There is no primwork in the outfit above, just a top and a mesh skirt. Unbelievably well drawn, it comes in several colors too good to pick one. (Butternut on the left might be my fave, but they’re all super). L$200.
The little red dress, Bah Dah Boom, also comes in a range of colors. The top and bottom have semi sheer gauze prim pieces that accent the dress and help turn it into something with interest you can accessorize with any number of pieces of your favorite jewelry to go chic or simply throw on for clubbing. Then for a truly great dress that my picture does not do justice to, the Flirty Pearl Sundress is also a study in good texturing. The sundress comes as a sleeve top or can be worn with the shrug shown. It comes in several colors as well. Each dress sells for L$250 per color. Take a look at Style Starts Here.
