Zipz! - She’s on Fire

I’ve introduced quite a few of my friends to this store: it’s one I found by chance one day and have been a huge fan of eversince. It’s huge, stocking clothes, jewellery, tattoos and probably other things I haven’t discovered yet: the designs are pretty fantastic, but I just love Dunja Hian’s creations.

200108ZipzLunar.jpgLunar is really a hybrid of body art and club wear. I adore it. The artistic merits of this outfit will transform you into a gallery exhibit, but if people want to stand around examining me and making suggestions as to what the designer and indeed the model are feeling/thinking, I am sure I am capable of dealing with all that extra attention.

The neck is rimmed with silver, metal spiking and curling in a free-moving pattern. The polish is evident, ruby stones set at intervals for added vibrancy, their surfaces clear and defined. The leather beneath sits tight to the skin, following and filling the twisting overlay which seems congruous to back and front.

The panties centre on a gemstone flower, scrolling details flowing in silver throughout. The trouser legs are high to either side, more metalwork reaching upward and curving around the buttocks and high up the thighs at the front, tripping easily down either leg where they stop at the knee, allowing for a plain bootleg flare to the base. Should you prefer, a pleated black skirt may substitute, drawing your attention fully to the body work and ornate arm sheathes.

200108ZipzFire.jpgIf that’s not hot enough, you can set yourself on fire with this little number, again with the pants and short skirt options, and also a long skirt which I haven’t shown for the simple reason that I couldn’t get everything in the picture. This set comes in a deep crimson, the edges charred and cut at angles in a distinct flame motif, reemphasised with a red and gold blaze licking up the bodice.  There is very little to the back: a double chain holds everything together, with links to the front to seal the keyhole opening.

The same features on the panties, which can be worn alone or with the set trousers, which hang from short chains at either side. They’re shaded with highlights to the knees, the inferno graphic flaring on the thighs: the skirt is similarly drawn with symmetrical fires on each panel. The longer version reaches the floor, the pattern exaggerated and enlarged to reach half way up the thigh.

Zipz! clothing is always very reasonably priced. Permissions tend to be transfer and no copy, so you can get your wear out of them between all of your alts (or your friends if they don’t object to your hand-me-downs). The quality is excellent, and while this isn’t your average fashion house, it does produce the most amazing club wear. If you want something very sexy, a little out of the ordinary, or just fancy seeing some inspired fantasy design, you really need to check out Zipz!

Lunar, $198L ; Red Fire $239L
