Naughty ‘n’ even Nicer!
I caught up with Nikita Lightfoot last night having walked into a Naughty n Nice branch on my travels. I dropped her a notecard to apologise profusely for not noticing quite how busy she’d been of late, and she graciously responded by sending me a few of her latest designs which I can’t help but share with you.
‘Once Bitten Twice Shy’ addresses you directly the moment you lay eyes on it, suggesting the wearer is completely comfortable with her body but still doesn’t want to give too much away just yet. The halter neck supports a soft leather top, the upper panels defined with silver studs and under run with piping, a double cross fastening to hold the top open and in place. Snake print finishes softly, the scaled texturing applied further to the low slung, figure hugging pants. Nikita does not leave the print to do all the work for her, applying subtle but defined rimpling over the legs, inflected with more studs along the sides. The belt is drawn, featuring chunky metal accents that compliment the rest of the outfit.
If you prefer to bare a little more, check out this cheeky number. Nikita seems to like making little crop tops, and she does them very well: this band top encompasses the chest, leaving breasts bared above and beneath but concealing as much as is necessary. The coloured panels feature a large skull print (the name may give it away, but you might not see the resemblance at first) trimmed with silver fastenings, edging running all around while the central pane is cut out at the front and back to reveal something extra. The matching gloves are fantastic: longer length for added glamour, with a loop that draws the cuff in a triangle across the knuckles, tying to the middle finger.
NN designs are produced on multiple layers now, offering great versatility if you want to pair things with other outfits, or simply for wearing them over tattoos. This outfit has both thong and pants options: the trousers have a satin sheen and are a more vivid blue than the upper, with silvered belt detail and zip fly. I’d much rather show off the thong though: it mimics the top and gloves, combining print and metal in a well balanced knicker that sits high up the leg, just about covering your kitty: be aware that they will sit higher than the trousers when worn together.
Finally ‘Crossed Biker Bitch’ gives you leather and metal on a grand scale, with mix and match pieces to achieve your perfect look. For best coverage, choose the leather bustier top, secured in a wide front opening with ties pulled through thick eyelets. The panels are fixed by silver wire and rounded fasteners, the stout shoulder straps adorned with closely spaced studs. There’s a peek a boo bra top made from wrapped studded leather that is centred to the front with a large buckle, the excess tipped with metal. The thong is composed the same way, gaps at the sides where the straps split, with some extra leather slung beneath to cover the essentials. Again you’re provided with gloves, and these are even more glorious than before, perfect for accessorising other outfits too. They’re
fingerless and have an oval cut out across the back of the hand that’s rimmed in pressed silver; signature binding composing the cuffs to compliment the set. The tight leather pants provided are simple, featuring a slight flare at the bottom, with crossed belt in the same style and zipper to the front.
When I last reviewed Naughty n Nice, I mentioned specifically the seam issues. There are slight alignment issues on these designs, but in my opinion these are much closer to the mark, and some of the seaming is due to the texturing, which always proves problematic for exact line ups. I would also say that the fabrics now appear more richly textured which gives the clothes a lot more punch, especially evident in the Once Bitten design, which I am really quite smitten with.
Naughty n Nice has a good range of sexy clothing, and there is definitely a lot more on offer since I last stopped by. If you haven’t been in for a while or haven’t seen Nikita’s work before, I would definitely recommend stopping by.

Graves - Leather and Latex
It’s been a while since I put on a leather cat suit, and I honestly can’t remember anything else that’s made me look this good.
This is G08 by Jackie Graves. The sleeveless cat suit features a chunky front zipper opening which offers a deep and flattering neckline. Nipples perk beneath the polished leather, curved seam lines stressing the shape of the body beneath. The material creases beneath the breasts and down to the stomach, the waist folds lying hidden by the large belt - it’s simple and powerful, ridged even to the buckle, and with matching cuffs on the gloves. There are half-ring features to the sides and back, which are purely decorative, although suggestive that the suit might allow for locking…
The zipper stops just shy of the crotch, with comparable elements accenting either thigh to the front. The rear is perfectly moulded, highly shined leather providing critical definition, dropping to tight legs which sit tight to the leg and cover the feet. This works fabulously well with knee high boots. I really love this cat suit because it’s dressy without being totally over the top; the material is extremely well drawn for a great sense of realism - without any of the aggravation that really comes when trying to get in and out of something like this – even as a black garment, this has its own depth and vibrancy that has to be admired.
Since I find it hard to leave a store with only one item, I also selected G21, the Open Suit in silver which is a sexy symphony of latex, leather and metal melded into one. This outfit is set to the neck with a fitted clasp choker, which caps the wonderfully constrictive latex top which glows with its metallic sheen to provide definition both front and back. Long gloves with fastenings cover the arms. The torso is dressed with an under bust corset in thick leather, with seamed panels to exaggerate the hourglass look, a trio of buckles front and back to bridge the split and hold everything in. To the back the thong strap threads to the corset and passes down beneath the crotch and splits to a panty at the front, combining there with the buckled suspenders that support the skin tight thigh highs.
For variation, you can wear this without the latex – there are some black cross pasties provided. The undies can also be removed if you’re feeling so inclined. While there are no add on options in store, a well-made skirt in latex, rubber or leather would probably go very well, although I have to admit that I really love the outfit as it stands.
Designers like Jackie make you glad to be a woman; I almost feel sorry for the guys, but then I remember they can share the glory simply by ogling. Take pity on your fella and pop on over to Graves to take a look at what else is in store: I don’t think either of you will be disappointed.

Getting my Vitamin Ci
Vitamin Ci is one of my favorite shops in Second Life and Ciera Bergman just sent over a collection of some great bikinis and a super hot little skirt outfit I just had to sneak into the pile of sexy things over here. The bikini is called Sasha and I love the way it’s cut. From the scooped top to the full bottom I think the design here is generous enough with the pixel cloth to make sure all my parts are covered, but at the same time revealing enough to make me feel sexy. The textures are Ciera’s usual excellent quality and the color selection is wide enough to ensure that there’s one for everyone. It comes in twelve colors and each color is L$150 or get all of them for an even L$1000.![]()
The outfit to the left is called Wyld and I just love it. For L$235 you get the fishnet shrug, which is the jacket layer, the bikini top and matching bottoms, the prim skirt and shorts for wearing with the skirt as well as the fishnet stockings. Wyld comes in six colors; pink (shown), olive, red, white, brown and blue. The quality shows in the mesh work, and also in the skirt, which was a snap to adjust to my ’shrimpy’ avatar. (Thank you Fannie, Celebrity, Ava and everyone else for that word :p
I know that most of our readers are probably very familiar with Vitamin Ci and the great things to be found there, it’s always nice to see great new things from a familiar place.
AW Design
I know it’s not really the right weather for a dip by the pool, but I dusted off one of my old swimsuits today and once I slipped it on I knew I just had to share it with you: and so rekindled my desire with AW Design.
‘Shield’ engenders attention; the thong back slides up to what appears to be a perfectly decent piece of swimwear, sculpted to the body’s contours up the back with streaks of silver providing highlights. The colour runs up to the nape of the neck, connecting to the halter, but before you can study the criss-cross neckline, your eyes are drawn down to the open sides that are joined with a trio of sturdy rings.
The front is set with a balcony top, the underside trimmed with silver that works around the sides of the torso to join in a V-shape beneath the belly button. Perfect if you have some jewellery you want to display. The high legs cut down to the crotch in a similar line for emphasis, drawing the piece together. I love that the material holds that damp sheen all over, and of course the shape is simply divine. Someone take me to the beach: you can watch me bask in the reflected glory.
If you’d rather keep a bit more on, then you could always swing down to the store and try on ‘Brin’ for size. Great for girls with attitude, the set comes on various layers for flexibility to play around, but for once I found it difficult to take anything off! Everything is so well tailored: the high neck jacket comes with open lace-front, the close sleeves flaring to contrasting buttoned cuffs. The light jacket is carefully detailed with stitching and crackled effect to the body, cropped short for a neat finish. Beneath lies a vibrant leotard, the high neck sitting over the cut-out front, the panels split with thick dark lines that add definition to the shape.
You can choose whether or not to don the mesh stockings provided, but you can’t possibly neglect the gorgeous prim buckle cuffs that wrap the arms, or the chain clasped belt that sits doubled around the hips. I completely refused to be without the pants in this set – no one could get close enough to peel them from my body while I was kicking and screaming on the floor – aside from the cheeky crotchlessness, the tugs and creases in the leather are simply to die for, and if you can resist the oversized leg flares, the latent shine (and did I mention the knee crumples yet?) then you have no SOUL and thou art condemned to Hades for all eternity, Heathen!
*Taps foot* Stop enjoying that and get back here.
If you liked the detail in Brin, then ‘Alleyene’ will be very much your style too. The original white colour really emphasises the work that has gone into every aspect of this set, which again comes with layers and lots of lovely options for you to enjoy.
The sculptie hoodie comes in a closed and open version: I favoured the open here because it shows off what’s underneath. Skin-tight with deep line shading for added definition, the prim hood has adorable cord ties that dangle to the front and just beg to be fiddled with whenever your hands aren’t otherwise occupied with… whatever your hands are usually occupied with. If you can bear
to take the jacket from your shoulders, you’ll reveal the mesh top which runs to a high neck, the straps lying open at the back and meeting to the arcing bodice which flows in gentle lines to envelop the torso. The mesh provides a modesty barrier against prying eyes, and while the seams aren’t precise at the sides due to the net pattern, I was far too busy admiring the sleek gloves to pay too much attention. I simply love fingerless gloves and these gel so completely with the rest of the outfit. There is more mesh across the knuckles with a darted edge to the upper arm, mimicking and accentuating the contours of the top.
Finally we have another pair of trousers that are perfectly shaded: I have to concede that these make my butt look even better than usual, and that’s no mean feat. From the spaced belt loops to the sewn edging on the pockets, everything has been lavished attention to give a quality and realism that makes me giddy with glee – the rumples behind the knees and the further lattice sections to the thighs and filling the splits in the trouser flares almost broke me, but I managed to pull myself together and stumble back to the office to do my blogging duty.
Adrina Welders is undoubtedly a talented designer and if you haven’t already, I urge you to check out her store for these and many more goodies. Colour choices are available for most of the designs, so pay a visit and see what suits you best.

Call Me Insolent
If you would like to get some of the best lingerie in Second Life, get on over to Insolence. I just finally got a chance to look at Clara, the sexy number you see here to the left, and ZOMG. The highlighting, texturing and shading are so well done it’s almost like you can reach through the screen and feel how soft it is. I kid you not, take a look. I’m wearing it in black. It also comes in white, purple and a rich red that Camilla calls Bordeaux. The panties come in a full back or a string bikini, and are only L$200 for the whole delicious outfit.
Though I’m not sure of the details of the collaboration, Camilla teamed up with Callie Cline to produce a line of lingerie called Jade that I like a lot. It comes in six colors and each color is a collection in and of itself.
In the picture I’m wearing Jade in Slate. The set includes a corset, bra, strapless bra and strapless corset, garters, panties and stockings as well as boas from Callie. L$290 and you’ll look like a supah-stah, dahling!
Insolence is located in Venom. Here’s a Slurl for your shopping convenience.
Sand Dollar: Fruits Basket
(Yes, more lingerie. But it’s so inexpensive, I just had to…)
Sand Dollar is a new lingerie label from Lavender Lamington, and the first release comes to us by way of ‘Fruits Basket’, with a total of eight design choices, each one costing a very reasonable $125L. You can also purchase a fatpack for $800L: at $100L per set, you can’t really argue that it’s good value for your Lindens.
Each hand drawn set is based on a fruit, featuring a themed print and colouration to match. ‘Blackberries’ is the black set, ‘Cherry’ is red, ‘Grapes’ is purple – and so on. The sets feature bra and panties on two layers, plus a pair of yummy thigh highs and prim bow sets to decorate.
The look here is delicate and feminine, the triangle print bra hiding most of the breasts but leaving a little uncovered on all sides. The central gore and halter neck are trimmed with white lace, the straps accented by coloured prim bows above either cup; there is another bow with long ribbon ties that hangs down to the back, which is a nice touch.
The thong is also printed with its themed fruit, bows to the front on either side. It has the same frilly trim. My favourite part of the set though is these thigh highs – as you can see they do actually come up to standard and don’t end over the knee or half way up the leg, which I see in a disappointing number of supposed ‘thigh highs’ on sale. They’re demi-opaque with spots over the leg, finished to the top with coloured ribbon, lace and more little bows to the backs.
Looks good enough to eat.
The seams are ever so slightly mismatched, the outer left on the thigh high tops and the right hand side on the panties are the two obvious ones: these were not a real issue for me, and you certainly won’t notice from a distance. You will find demos at the store, so if you’re picky you can try yourself before you buy. Pay Sand Dollar a visit, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
SLink! - New Lingerie
I reviewed SLink! on my personal blog not so long ago, and Siddean Munro IM’d me the other day to let me know she had released a new lingerie set, which I was all over before you could say “rabid reviewer”.
If you’re looking for something classic but not too fussy, these sets are just perfect. The bra straps cut quite unusually, angled at the front and then vertical but more central to the back, but the placing means you can easily wear these with sleeveless tops and not have any nasty show through. I like that; I’m forever getting up on my high horse about girls who don’t bother concealing underwear beneath their clothes (most frequently when I’m wearing skirts that pass for belts and a shirt that leaves very little to the imagination). The cups are solid and full, with a little lace detail above each cup. What I really like is the attention paid at the back on the clasp, which is actually drawn on: I mean how many clothes do we all own that have no feasible way of having gotten on our bodies? I like these little touches, although they make me greedy for more.
The panties are generous on the bottom, the high leg gathering density with more lace trimming which is well matched at the seams. They sit fairly straight on the body meaning they work well with most trouser layers, even if they are low cut. The hold ups are well made, thick lace banding and light back seams to compliment the sheer legs.
The colours are versatile enough to be matched to your favourite outfits: I put together a little collage of the colours available, although I missed white (I trust you would have a good idea what that might look like) and modelled ‘Champagne’ in a darker skin as it didn’t show up so well on my pale complexion.
If you like what you see, take a trip over to the SLink! store. You can pick up individual colours for $100L or snap up the whole lot for $400L.
Nicky Ree - Sexy Rose
Nicky Ree has done it again, bowling me over with a fabulous lingerie release. ‘Sexy Rose’ is 100% hand drawn and actually comes as 14 mix and match pieces: whatever your layers preferences you will be able to put together your perfect set.
While you can play around with garters, knickers and midsections all you like, essentially there are two distinctive designs to enjoy. One burgeons with rose blossoms, grouping under the cups and then falling centrally
down to the stomach, with the flowering matched on the panties which come in the options of more bottom coverage or less. If you choose for a plainer style, then there is the piped version of the bodice which emphasises the texturing on the satin material: raised edges run from the underwiring in smooth lines towards the stomach, picked up in the knickers to give a shapely curve. The back arcs comfortably below chest level, with faint vertical ridges for continuation.
The garters have a transparent webbing that composes the belt, straps in satin with little fasteners and clips as you would expect. The stockings pick up on the colour of the outfit in their shimmering highlights, which is a nice touch.
There is also a skirt that completes the set, which is beautifully detailed with rose heads and leaves bordering the sheer mesh. While you can see most everything anyway, the skirt does cut up across the left thigh to expose the leg a little more clearly; definitely enough to drive your intended quite wild with desire. A small note though: do keep your legs together, as the pretty pattern will smear if you don’t.
The design is extremely flattering and is executed with Nicky’s normal excellence, meaning however simple it is, you can guarantee it will be lovely to look at. Available in 8 gorgeous colours (I’m so horribly incapable of choosing just one…!) from her main store in Tropical Orchid.
SexySecond Magazine #1 Ready for Pick-up
That strange noise you heard was my sigh of relief.
The magazine is finished, thank you to all of you who worked so hard to help us get this done.
I hope you like it, I look forward to feedback of all sorts to make this a a magazine that serves its readers with what they want to read.
You can download a copy here .
In the coming days I will make a couple of different styles of vendor; one for shops and street corners and one that looks like a coffee table copy of the mag. Both when clicked, will yield a URL rather than a copy, as this will not be published in-world.
Again, I hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed putting it together!
BodyCount - Deb and Sora shapes
I was approached by Nosha Dalgleish of BodyCount not so long ago, asking why it was that Sexy Second didn’t feature any shape reviews. After all, even with the most amazing skin in the world, if you’re still Ruth underneath it’ll ruin your look. I considered it for a moment and then made a vow to speak with the boss and ask if we could get a listing up. With Jaime’s blessing and Nosha’s input, I started work on my first shape review. Go easy with the criticisms; it’s my first time.
Deb is the first shape Nosha sent and she certainly ticked all the right boxes with me. She has a rounded face with pronounced cheek bones and slightly pointed chin, her large eyes giving extra appeal. The button nose is pretty and the lips are pouty without being over the top. A very slight figure, Deb is lacking anything by way of excess fat about the stomach or the hips, so if you like a very slender shape she is a good bet. Her breasts are small but well risen, which maintains a balance and realism while still enabling you to get a reasonable cleavage under those low cut tops.
Arms are well proportioned with small hands for a petite feel. Leggy but not to the point of absolute excess, with a firm derriere, Deb looks very attractive in a wide range of clothing and in a variety of skins, making her a good choice whatever your plans for her future endeavours.
Sora has quite a different look, much broader although again lacking in body fat to give an hourglass shape which is especially effective under clothes. Her face is more oval with wide eyes and full pouty lips; the nose is small but not upturned giving her a classical beauty.
The neck is solid to match the rest of the build, with an ample chest which accents this curvy figure. Arms are shorter, but not so much that you’d feel disproportioned; the legs are long but thick enough to convincingly bear the weight of the body without being tree-trunks. The size 0 feet cause a slightly unusual shape in the ankle, but I believe this is a widely accepted flaw and can easily be overcome. The bottom is larger but this balances perfectly and it’s nicely toned to keep in with this distinctive physique.
![]()
Do remember of course that the skins are not included – you’re only buying the shape. Nosha does throw in a free smile attachment and sexy walk which are great for newer players too.
Shapes can be bought as both modifiable ($399L) and non-modifiable ($549L) which I like: the non-mods are fine if you’re completely satisfied with the look, and the mod versions mean you can always tweak something if you’re not entirely happy with one or two aspects. There are also demos available which I think is a great idea, so you can try before you buy!
All pictures are courtesy of Nosha Dalgleish – details of all skins and hairs used for the images can be found in the shape packs on purchase.
