Ambergris

It was Saturday when I started this post: I’ve been out for a night on the town! I simply had to share with you this gorgeous number from Ambergris: it’s called ‘Slickety Black’ and indeed it lives up to its name.

Slickety BlackSlickety Black is just right for this season. Technically you’re wearing a jacket - which just happens to expose arm and breast flesh, but will keep your neck free from those prevailing winds. The skirt is long enough to be superbly swishy, especially if you’re hovering or doing a lot of posing (a la Arabeth) and I simply adore the texturing on it. The effect in the picture is largely due to my tendency to adjust my weight from foot to foot - if you’ve seen the heels I walk around in, you’ll sympathise - where the system skirt juts through the prim outer. I happen to think it works pretty well, although this can be adjusted to cover a little more leg if you’re so inclined.

The boots are included with this one, which makes it a bargain at $325L. I love this so much as a standalone that I don’t even bother accessorising, although I do recommend using the skirt, boots and top to mix and match with various other wardrobe items to get the most out of your money.

Anyway, I’m off to party some more. See you on the dance floor!

Tessen by Rfyre

TessenTessen by Rfyre is an incredible outfit that defies description. Featuring 17 pieces, it is equal parts sex and danger. This highly detailed embroidered leather body suit is at once rugged and beautiful and it is so detailed you may need to plan extra time when wearing it so that people can stop you and look it all over. The Asian motif begins with the two gorgeous fans that attach to your hands. The theme literally carries all the way to your toes as the incredibly detailed ankle boots feature fans as part of their design as well.

TessenWith two bodices, a jacket, three pairs of pants, underpants and many sculpty prim attachments you will be sorting the various looks and outfits you can achieve for a while. In the pictures I am wearing the sheer pants and the regular pants, the third features an incredibly detailed dragon design. The best part of this is that the whole outfit, all 17 pieces, is only L$850.

KayliWulf Kingdom: Fetish Emporium

Today I felt like talcing up and squeezing myself into something ridiculously figure-hugging, so I contacted Lazarus Luan to see what was currently hot at KayliWulf Kingdom

Daphne's DaydreamI requested the ‘Daphne’s Daydream’ outfit for review, and was not disappointed. It’s hard not to look good in something designed to show off every aspect of your pixel-perfect form in glorious detail. There is the nuisance of the smear-glitch on your inner thigh, but I can live with that. The boots are detailed with laces and eyelets, and the toes go up on ballerina points to allow for neck-breaking height. The outfit also includes gloves and a bow for the corset – it’s only sensible to tie those laces off or the Nekos might mistake you for a ball of string. Those claws tend to smart.

PredatorSpeaking of Nekos, how’s this for a sexy take on feline? ‘Predator’ is a latex tiger suit and it’s such fantastic fun that I am now on a mission to find a pair of whiskers to accessorise. Everyone will be dying to tickle my belly when I take to the streets in this. And again, look at the fantabulous boots with the dinky bow feature! The tail also screams magnificence with every wiggle and turn; the movement is perfection. If anyone invites me to a Hallowe’en party, I am definitely going as a super-sleek tigress. Rowr.

Dark Tempest EnsembeIf you’re looking for something more formal, might I recommend the ‘Dark Tempest Ensemble’? The highlights are beautifully done to give a really slinky feel, and I love the mermaid skirt prims, which incidentally double up as flare bottoms when you strut around (or more purposely when attached to your favourite pair of black latex trousers). This is designed for standing around looking fabulous in.

There are two other things worth mentioning about KayliWulf Kingdom. There are lots of freebies in boxes near the entrance (bargain!) so if you go for nothing else, dive in there. There are some great mix and match pieces. KayliWulf Kingdom also offers to exchange any transfer item bought within the first few days of buying if you’re not entirely happy with your purchase, and if you prefer ‘copy/no transfer’ versions of whatever you’ve bought, contact the owner and a free swap can be made. What great customer service.

If you love latex, you’ll love KayliWulf Kingdom.

The Delights of Port Seraphine

Nephilaine Protagonist is such a prolific designer that I was slightly dismayed when I first heard that Pixeldolls would be ‘put on a diet’ - however I can quite understand why she is streamlining her collections to a smaller and more manageable boutique. Still, as long as she continues designing, I will manage to sate my lust.

ChosenThere are (literally) a hundred outfits I could review, but ‘Chosen’ at ‘Seraphine Combat’ picked me. Sexy with attitude, wordlessly warning the world that you’re a confident kick-ass bitch: “You know you want my body, but touch me and I’ll probably break your hand.”

Chosen (2)I’m not usually wild about system skirts, but this one is beautifully textured and doesn’t give me a butt-ledge you could serve drinks from. The side slits show off your pins beautifully, accentuated with strappy seams and the luscious net thigh-highs. If you don’t like the skirt, it can come off to create a flattering bodysuit… but the skirt and I enjoy each others’ company. The boots that come with the outfit may not be quite to your taste, but can easily be exchanged for your favourite shoes. To be honest though, I wouldn’t bother, who exactly is going to be looking at your feet?

Escape! If you’re more submissive by nature, then perhaps the finery of ‘Triple Threat: Escape!’ from ‘The New Zero’ is more your style. Seen here in black, the outfit makes you feel instantly desirable, baring just the right amount of flesh. The skirt is subtly detailed so as not to detract from the skin beneath, but of course you can go all out and rip it off to reveal the pretty panties.

Escape! DetailI love the drawn belt and the silver detail on the bra cups, but the prim accessories that come with this give the outfit its character. The broken chain design makes this perfect for roleplay: any slave who fancies their chances in the wilds of Gor or indeed any masochists wishing to invoke the wrath of their keeper should try this on for size.

Minor quibble: the seam on the left side of the panties doesn’t quite match up. It’s not something I really noticed with the whole set on, but it is a little more obvious when wearing as a bra and knickers combo.

Chosen will set you back $350L and Triple Threat: Escape! is $600L per colour. If you can’t decide, then you can purchase all twelve flavours for a massively discounted price of $3600L.

Wander down to Port Seraphine and have a good look around. There are lots of different shops to suit every taste and indeed most price ranges. There is so much to see, you won’t know what to buy first!

Insolence

Scarlett in WhiteNeither rude nor disrespectful, this latest addition to Camilla Yosuke’s ‘Insolence’ range is at first glance not an especially exciting piece of lingerie. You may consider it a little tame, but quite frankly I adore it.

Scarlett is artful without being affected. Simple lines accentuate your body shape, with net panels to break up the silk, producing a superbScarlett Back View definition of texture. One of the more sophisticated designs on the market, it bares a little more flesh on the back and just a tantalising glimpse of behind. Oh Camilla, make a version just an inch longer and I believe I could carry it off as a dress…

Scarlett Bow DetailThe prim lace skirting and a teeny-tiny bow detail to the bust complete the design. At $290L, it’s a fair price to pay, and it also comes in black, red and brown, but the white appealed to the pseudo-virgin in me. I do so love play-pretend.

The shoes don’t come with the set, but they are also from Insolence: ivory pearl heels checking in at $350L a pair.

You know you have a space in your wardrobe for this one.

Chaospire - I’m in LOVE!!

WoodnymphIf you’ve never been to Chaospire, you simply must check it out.   I fell in love with absolutely everything there, and I can’t wait to add to my collection!    Devyn Grimm is a fantastic designer, and the texturing and realism is amazing.   All of Devyn’s designs are made from scratch and hand-painted!  Talk about talent!!!

Since I simply can’t decide to review everything in one single blog, I’ll narrow it down to two of my favorites.

WoodnymphMy first design to highlight is the Woodnymph Fantasy Outfit.  Oh my goodness, this is downright sexy!  This outfit comes in 7 pieces - A bra, corset, Gloves, Leggings, Panties, a flexi left skirt, and flexi armbands.   The realism is amazing, and did I mention how sexy this is?  It shows you off in all the right places, while leaving just enough to the imagination to drive people wild!   This outfit is priced at a modest $800L, a real steal given the expertise of Devyn Grimm’s texturing/painting abilities.

Chaospire - SuccubusNext by Devyn, we have the Succubus Fantasy outfit.  This is a 6 piece outfit, including a bra, underbust corset, panties, leggings, gloves, and a set of horns for all of you devils out there (myself included!).  The texturing is a gorgeous black and red leather and the corset, bra and panties are finely detailed with chains!  The bra is beautifully sexy in a sheer black.   Another bonus?  The bra and panties come in 2 layers so you can keep your tattoos!  How thoughtful is Devyn?  Muahs!

This is the perfect outfit for all of you femme fatales out there.. I highly recommend this!  This outfit is also very nicely priced at $800L - totally worth that, and then some with the excellent attention to detail.

Here’s the SLURL for one of the Chaospire locations: http://slurl.com/secondlife/Io/234/46/52/

The other is in Midnight City! :)

Till next time… and happy shopping! :)

Nymphetamine

LaylaI don’t fall in love too often, but Paeoti Pomeray knows just how to make me go weak at the knees. If you’ve never visited Nymphetamine then stop reading this and go. Now!

If you’re well acquainted or you’re simply bad at taking instruction, then may I introduce you to my long-standing favourite outfit, Layla. Perfect for my darker moments, I cannot get over the immaculate texturing on this. Just look. If you can wear this outfit and not squeal with delight every time the skirt ruffles in the wind, you have no soul!

Daphny Dress SetPaeoti’s latest design is the Daphny dress set, which will set you back $400L. Of course, if you choose to accessorise (and of course you must) with the Kiaka’s Gems Set, that will be the same again, but it is oh so worth it.

Kiaka Gems Set   The Daphny dress shares Layla’s fabulous flexi-arm cuffs and a delectable flexi bow to the waist. Forget someone’s birthday and need a present in a flash? Wrap yourself up in this little number and I can promise all will be forgiven. For some reason I modelled in the ‘no-nipples’ version of the outfit, but the shirt comes in a perkier version for those of you who are paying attention. Heaven knows everyone will be paying attention to you.

Welcome Arabeth Laval

Arabeth Laval I was thrilled to hear from Arabeth Laval saying she would be willing to join the SexySecond team. With a rich history as a SL blogger and a RL writer, Arabeth brings not only gorgeous writing but also a wealth of fashion knowledge and just wait wait wait till you see her style! Arabeth says she can’t wait to get started, and I know that I can’t wait to see what treasures she’ll find for us on the grid. I know you’ll join me in looking forward to her posts.

A Classic From Nyte’N'Day

Tism by Nyte'N'DayI went into the back of my closet and pulled out this outfit because it truly is one of my favorites. This is Tism from Nyte’N'Day. For just L$235 you get several great looks. There’s the top, (which is also used in their great bodysuit), bootie shorts, an adorable tiny skirt, and two pairs of stockings. Seriously, if you don’t have this one go get it. You’ll love it.

A Vote for Jaime is a Vote for…Um, Jaime

Vote for jaimeI know that like 8 zillion people signed up for the 12avatars contest. I’m not normally a gal who does these things, but it seemed like fun at the time. If you haven’t voted for anyone, and think I’m worthy of a spot in a RL calendar, go give me a vote. You’ll land right next to my picture if you use This Slurl.  (If you’re there and wandering around, I’m on kiosk 18 and my picture is picture G) Just click the picture that looks like this one to vote for lil’ ol me.

Onto other matters. I apologize for not updating anything lately. Both Fannie and Justine had posts that were posted momentarily but a glitch in the software lost them both. (The posts, not Justine and Fannie).

The blog seems to have recovered from whatever ailed it, so hopefully we’ll have new sexy things up for you soon!
