Pink for Life
I got an e-mail about the Pink for Life project that ConceptSL, a French company, is participating in. Teaming up with the RL Gustave Roussy Institute, they plan to merge SL and RL fashion to raise some money for Breast Cancer Research. In real life, the works of French Designers will be exhibited on October 9th and 10th and then the items will be auctioned off. In SL, they want to do the same thing from October 1st -10th, then sell the items on eBay!
They are looking for designers willing to donate items. They will accept clothes, accessories, furniture and “other” items. The only stipulation is that it has to be Pink!
To contribute, send a picture of your item to fashion@conceptsl.com. If you’re selected they will contact you. The in-world contact is Yogi Huldschinsky, and there is more info on their website at http://www.conceptsl.com/igr.php.
Arienne from Simplicity
I love Moodii Moxie’s clothes and Arienne is too good a deal to pass up. Head on over to Simplicity and get yourself a copy of this. For L$350 you get the outfit shown here, which also comes with a longer prim skirt and a second set of wings that flap and emit particles. The skirt looks good and adjusted easily.
Arienne comes in over a dozen colors. The one I’m modeling is called Champagne. You also get the sweet little panties shown left. I found the quality to be good, especially in the detailing on the corset. The variety of options makes it a sweet and sexy outfit for very few lindens.
What a Great Deal!
Go to Nuclear Boutique and get this week’s freebie. It is this very same outfit I’m wearing here only in emerald green. It’s called Luxury Sleep Wear, it includes all that you see here, including shoes. The little bootie boy shorts and top are cute enough they can be worn on their own. You can wear it with the fuzzy prim collar or without. If green isn’t your color, they sell them in three others, including the red you see here, all for just L$200.
Yes, I said it, that includes the shoes. What are you waiting for?
TavWear
![]()
Looking for something to wear to the beach? There are a zillion great swimsuit makers out there, but give a look to TavWear before you spend your whole bikini allowance. Designer Tavasha Martynov has some great colors and textures that are fairly reasonably priced. Most of her bikinis are in the L$150 range. (She also has a huge bonus pack of them for L$1250 which contains over 50 pieces). In the pictures I’m wearing some of her sheer bikinis, one in forest green and one in sky blue.
Welcome Aboard
It is with great pleasure that I welcome two new writers to the SexySecond team.
Fannie Carter says she knows her Second Life lingerie because she has spent her SL time “trying to be as sexy as possible, which is not easy to accomplish with shoes often attached to my bottom.” She is a talented writer and a lively and funny woman. We look forward to her reviews and more of her wit and charm.
Justine Babii may be the busiest person in Second Life. She writes for several blogs including the Second Life Herald, Second Style Magazine, SLebration.com and SLNN. She is also starting a business as a photographer in addition to starting her RL career. She has kindly agreed to send us occasional posts when she gets some time and when designers send her “things that make me blush.” Justine is, as Marilyn Murphy once called her, a perfect cupcake and we’re thrilled to have her with us.

Gothica Bodysuits
When I posed for Post 6 over at the Second Life Herald it seems I should have given a shout-out to Gothica, who made the latex I posed in, as that was what everyone wanted to know about. Here it is.
Gothica sells these suits in a variety of colors and degrees of opacity. The one in the post below is barely see-thru, while this one is obviously mostly see-thru. (I forget the degrees of opacity, go to Exotica Island and check them out and it will be obvious to you which is which). The bodysuits come in a big package for a whopping L$800, but once you open the package and see that there are many options inside the price makes more sense. (There are even boots included, though they are rudimentary and you’ll want to wear your fave boots instead). The only issue I have with these outfits regarding price is the add-on packs, which are L$200. The half zipped top I’m wearing above is from an add-on pack, and it seems a bit pricey to me, but theoretically you could buy just the add-on and wear it with other latex you already own.
X2 makes wonderful stuff, and if you’re a regular wearer of latex it’s well worth the L$1000 lindens the outfit as shown will cost you. (Beware! I’m talking about the latex here, the boots and belt in the pic come from Solange!) The shine and reflection of X2 latex is almost without peer, and certainly will attract strangers who want to know where you got it.
Me, Post 6 Grrl
I’m this week’s Post 6 Grrl over at the Second Life Herald.
I’ve been dying to talk about this all week but had to keep it secret. My bestest friend Marilyn Murphy asked me if I’d like to model for Post 6 many many times, but it never seemed right taking advantage of our friendship to further any SL modeling aspirations I might have. (And it turns out I really don’t have any anyhow).
Marilyn decided to take a break as the legendary photog of Second Life, and another friend, Justine Babii of Second Style Magazine was hired to take her place. Apparently Marilyn’s departure and Justine’s arrival were in close enough proximity to a deadline that Justine felt a little desperate and called on little old me to fill in as a model. If you know Justine, you know that turning her down is like kicking a puppy, so I had to do it.
In return for my modeling she promised to let me have any pictures she took that wouldn’t get used (you’ve seen some in the Solange post and will see more in the future as she let me model a bunch of things over a couple of sessions).
The Herald readers have so far been nice and the whole experience has been fun. Marilyn, I hope you enjoy your break and I wish Justine the best with her new position!
So Good, Solange
This is Gunslinger from Solange. For L$450 it may seem a little on the expensive side, but as with all things from Solange it’s well worth it.
The lace detail and prim additions are fab and there are so many combinations of looks you get out of this it’s like buying several outfits at once. Included in the package is a leather corset, not shown, a couple of versions of the belt that’s shown, and a couple of combinations of skirt. There is also a supplemental package of add-ons you can buy to make even more combinations, and the best part is Solange’s kick ass Gunslinger Boot, which is sold separately and comes in a variety of colors.
